Thanks roobear and roosurgence - I am indeed a chick but can take it from the best of them. However I don't believe that snrub or whatever he chooses to call himself these days is in that group. He says I personally attacked him but he does exactly the same thing to anyone who may disagree with anything that he says or the club line.
I am a long time loyal supporter of this club but because I put my hard earned in (and not just with memberships but in lots of other ways too) doesnt mean I have to tow the party line 100% of the time
My point of the post was that shaming blokes publicly doesnt work and the fact that we didnt play for 2 weeks means it wasn't relevant until we did, a fact lost on snrub obviously. I certainly don't need an out from him for anything I post and the fact that he isn't a mod means that he has no right to say what I can and can't post here just like everyone else.
I believed strongly that night that Brent did the wrong thing and still do and time will tell whether it has long lasting effects.

Good post Kangafruity, I agree with you but I think its time Snrub and yourself both agree to disagree as deep down I know you both want whats best for NMFC.

Just so we're straight - I'm in no way suggesting debate should be any more or less vigorous based on the gender of the person you disagree with. Just that the term "flog", when applied to a female, to me takes on a more aggressive tone. I'm probably just being old fashioned, but to me it sounds "harsh" because Kangafruity's female, and that's all I was saying there.

The bit about the club putting it to bed. Sorry, but it is completely unrealistic to suggest that participants on a bulletin board should cease questioning actions coming from the club because the club has decided they're over. There has been one game since Boomer's comments were made, and in that game both subjects of his outburst played ordinary games. Perfectly reasonable for Kf to bring that up in the wake of the game I would have thought, and perfectly appropriate timing. The board was pretty much split over whether Boomer did the right thing; it's not like that question has been resolved yet, so continuing to debate it seems pretty reasonable.
