So - did Dimma lose the players?

Plays his favorites no doubt. If you are on the outer, no chance to get a decent crack at with Hardwick. I see a very stubborn man that's set in his ways.

That's why imo he has no chance of turning our game style and therefore performance around next year. He is just too inflexible.

He changed it from what we now want (in 2013) into what we now have. He is certainly capable of turning it around.... or capable of having an 18 month holiday all expenses paid by the RFC

Fair enough but I didn't see a lot of change in the last 6 or 7 rounds (or whatever it was) when the season was shot and it was the perfect opportunity to experiment.

I have on confidence that he is innovative enough to develop his own game plan/style that will hold up against the good teams.

So when we dominated Sydney earlier this year, got over run, then fought back and won did you not think then that the game style might hold up against a good team?

Plenty of examples of shitfulness, I know, but it did stand up that night. Why not again...and again?

can only make judgement based on the full 23 rounds. More often than not we were found wanting and imo largely due to our game plan being to easily picked apart/closed down by opposition teams.

I take your point about that Sydney game but look at Carlton beating Geelong this year. That sort of thing happens but they then went on to lose 11 of their next 12 games

Fair argument.

Based on results Choco was over- rated over over paid ; he's cooked as a coach and should take his money and retire...
Could be wrong but thought his development role was more as a 'human' development type arrangement, not 'football' development as in skills. Could be wrong.

Agree with the last 7 rounds bit.... though we did see a change in the VFL side (which had half our senior guys in it....sort of).

Not really fussed about that though.... we had not a lot to gain by winning those last few games. Happy for it to be reworked over the off-season and then trained. If we trot out the same crap next year though......

dimma has lost the fans attendance numbers are damning for him.

but no overall most of the players love him and that's the problem he mollycoddles them and tells them what they want to hear and when things go wrong or they are shown up instead of knuckling down they go into there shell and sook basically dimma has turned the players into mothers boys

vickery wanted to leave the other year he doesn't like being a whipping boy but fans also don't want to see a high draft pick be lazy and do **** all for there contract $

conca's hamstrings are made of paper mache he knows his career is in trouble so its hard to fault the fact he wants to get as much as he can before retiring. but the fact he has been on our list so long and he still does not have the body of an afl player is an absolute joke our fitness regime is shit house

lennon talented but lazy like vickery thinks everything should be handed to him coasts on his talent alone but wont work hard for it. was stiff to be dropped from the final but instead of knuckling down and working hard he asked for more money held the club to ransom and wanted out. now a year later he has had injuries and only managed 4 games and 4 full vfl games but wants out and feels hard done by. yet compare him to Sam Lloyd got dropped for the final like lennon but instead of sooking it up and wanting out or asking for more $ he knuckled down and worked his arse off in pre season and got fit and made it impossible to be dropped and earned his spot in our side. rance and dusty aside lloyd was our best player of the year. there is the difference one works his arse off the other coasts and demands on the back of **** all

culture will be better for getting rid of the 2 soft ***** and paper strings

I get Lennon re. The EF, along with conca's drafting, selection for that game was the dumbest thing I've seen the club do in its recent history.

I'd hold a grudge if I was Lennon or lloyd.

Most of the players don't love him. He has about six favourites.
The rest he would hardly look straight in the eyes . Most of the blokes there would rather be in a team coached by a bloke who offers a future to them and the team.
The mollycoddling eventually wears thin especially once failure and mediocrity sets in. DH seven year honeymoon is over.

Conca isn't best 22 and is injury prone, it's a win for both parties if he leaves.

Lennon dead set seems like a little sook.

Vickery, yes. Our game plan doesn't help him one bit. As much as he cops crap on here, he is a very strong mark on the lead and in a 1 on 1 contest and uses the ball beautifully for a 200cm player. Unfortunately we move the ball at snail like pace which means he is very rarely given a chance.

I hope to christ our list doesn't implode in a few years with no success to show for it. 5 AA players and we may not even win a final:(
Too late besides it has never ever been a good list.
Lets be honest apart from a handful who regularly dragged em over the line in mostly sub standard games they have not been good enough.
