Great Grand Final
Shame there has to be a runner up.
Stay proud.
Rising Star winner and many young talents unearthed this year means all is not lost for the future.
Considering the last couple years weren't great can't help but admire the turnaround.

Going to take a while to get over that loss, but super proud of the players. Couldn't have done much more and we looked out of legs for most of the game.

Really feel for Woodward? the runner. Feel it was a case of wrong place wrong time. Adam's should not have centred the ball in such a risky situation with Eagles players surrounding. One poor mistake in a huge game from Tay.

Overall, quite proud, but looks like we are missing a few pieces. May would be great.

I watch a lot of footy and I call it as I see it.. Collingwood was clearly robbed of a grand final today due to the wrong decision on the play that ultimately decided the game. I've watched the tape and it's quite clear, quite clear...The winning mark for goal for West Coast kicked by Dom Sheed was based on a blatant shepherd on Brayden Maynard from Willie Rioli Maynard had ZERO chance on that play thanks to Rioli pushing him out of the contest. If you watch it, Rioli actually pushes Maynard away, turning him from Sheed. Even Cam Ling said it was a shepherd. Not a good way to decide a grand final...after seeing the Bulldogs & Tigers win in the past couple of years the Eagles post-game celebrations whilst happy, weren't as full on.. the sub text = they knew they had stolen it. And what about that grub journo from The Australian Peter van Onselen calling Joffa Corfe a "f-wit" after the game in his Twitter feed (the coward has since removed the tweet)... some people don't know how to be humble when they win..Absolutely full of admiration for your club and what you stand for on and off the park...you''ll be back

Was an amazing year, and we came so much further than anyone suspected. Two minutes and some extremely dodgy 18 vs 21 calls from our 16th Premiership, out of nowhere. Proud and defiant. We deserve a premiership with this coach and this list and we will get one.

This hurts, make no mistake, especially as we know the wrong result occurred. But we'll be back. And all these dropkicks trolling our board today that support inferior clubs cannot say the same.

I still won't congratulate the Eagles. They do not deserve congratulations.

Nathan Buckley has done an outstanding job this year and if Collingwood were to win the flag in 2019 I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised. You don’t have to barrack for Collingwood to know that the AFL needs a club like Collingwood firing in Victoria.

He was being held as he marked i think he was just in motion with WC also assisting him fwd. Should of been bought back.

WC 2nd goal was the result of 2 piss poor free kicks and an advantage rule that usually is made that the player come back over the mark.

Sucks but IF Eagles kicked straight in last Qtr we would of Lost by 2-3 Goals. and Outside of Start they out played for 3 Qtrs

Sad to see us lose like that but I say the Better Team Won and they have had our Number in all 3 Games.

Was Super Pissed after Win but after bit of Relflaxing I felt proud how we went this season. Miles better then I ever thought.

Plus getting that close to a Flag with not being close to our Best Team is a Huge Effort.

Some Players I think be Disappointed in there game today and they where

• Grundy - Still a Huge Fan but Vardy and Lycett did a number on him. They did the Same thing vs Gawn last week and I think that is the Biggest Reason they won the Flag as there Rucks stopped Grundy and Gawn Influence
• JT and Miocheck - Tried Hard but thought both was Beaten
• Pendles - Does not look like the player he used to be 1-2 Seasons Ago
• Cox - Yes Kicked 2 and Took some marks late but out of that was Quiet

Here are the Players I was very Proud Of"

• Mayne - I was a Massive Critic this time last year but I really thought he played well
• Adams - Massive Game and was our Heart and Soul
• Sier - Was Patchy but did some really classy things
  
• Stephenson - Excitment Machine but being a Rookie was bit Skinny/Not Strong Enough to have more of a Influence
• Langdon - Disposal gets me Worried but was Huge taking Marks late in the Game

Though the loss was a Typical Collingwood GF Loss - Getting Pipped

Grundy was solid.
A lack of A grade key forward a la Kennedy/Darling cost us.
If we had at least ONE big target up forward in the first half that could land a few marks and kick a couple in the first half, then we cash in when we had the momentum.

I am going to say it, I told you so, lost it at the selection table plus a few players having their worst game ever.

What selection would have changed it?

Our backline structure was fine. Our backline did brilliantly. Our midfield got smashed.
