True but we’re they there. At the ground they looked like a 50-50 call that went eagles way.Ruck infringements. Absolute momentum killers and a few goals were scored from them.

it decided the game unfortunately...re: maynard / rioli shepherd for the Sheed mark & subsequent goal ... watch the last 2 mins see the reaction from maynard..cam ling etc etc and the fans on that side of the play...
Yep it's about time some of the big Melbourne clubs stopped laying down for the AFL and their constant efforts to make the path easier for the expansion teams.the win underneath the loss is the big Membership increase before the opening bounce of 2019 and massive crowds during the season.
Look forward to some BIG Richmond Collingwood clashes next year. We will need to get better.

Thx and also hope we meet you guys in a GF soon - your mob owes us a few and my time is running out.Congratulations on the season you guys had. It feels awkward being a Blues supporter saying that I actually wanted you guys to win, not sure what you are up to, but keep it up... and hopefully we'll see you guys in a final real soon.
Yeah spot on, l don’t know why you guys had the fumbles in the 3rd quarter....it came down to a few critical moments that could’ve swung your way but didn’t. You have some serious talent that’s for sure.Yep Westies blocked up Coxies leading space.
Too many talls out of the team sadly, Moore and Reid were physically recovered and fit from their injuries but had zero match practice.
With our lynch pin Dunn out until next year, the cupboard was actually bare. Sadly our mids were beaten on the day and that forced us to play outside of our game plan.
Yes.Still the most appearances and losses out of all the clubs in history of this game.
Moore did well on Kennedy when he played on him in the H&A. But I guess we have to accept the club version that Moore failed to satisfy a medical assessment. Which leaves Reid. Would he have made a difference? Maybe.I appreciate your perspective, but let's be honest. If the 6 down back today, who had proven themselves to be solid across this finals series, could not hold back the contested marking monsters in West Coasts forward half, then an injury prone Darcy Moore wouldn't have stood a chance.
That was the best we could run against them today and they beat us. Dunn might have made a difference, but there was nobody better than those selected in my opinion.
watch the tape....watch maynard impeded... it was a bad call.. the outcome of that play was the winning goal..im not trying to convince anybody..its just an opinion....nothing more...I'm not really sure why you're so keen to convince us that one umpiring non-decision cost us the game. It seems to be a rather narrow view of what happened. The Eagles played better across the 4 quarters, they were clearly on top for at least 3 quarters, and it is therefore unsurprising that they won the game.
Credit to the Eagles. No credit to the umpires.
Lost this game at selection.
Moore needed to be picked. Goldsack was an arrogant selection for against Kennedy, he needed to be on Darling.
Darling took bloody 7 marks in one Q...... Selection in defense cost us.
I'm right amongst it mate more than you'll ever be or even dream of..i have plenty of idea..i call it it as i see it..WATCH the goddam tape... watch the single play break it down..if you think that Maynard WASN'T impeded..then I'm heading off to spec savers for a new pair of glasses...You've no idea if you truly believe that
Thx it's one of those things really - sometimes the ball bounces your way and other times it won't. It seemed every time the ball shot out of a pack or ricocheted of of a block or knock on it seemed to land right in the lap of a Westie - that's the way it goes sometimes.Yeah spot on, l don’t know why you guys had the fumbles in the 3rd quarter....it came down to a few critical moments that could’ve swung your way but didn’t. Turning out to be one of the worst days ever for me. Just got news my pop is in critical condition so have to drive up to albury to go see him. This is just so unfair

No argument there - when the Pies / Baggers rivalry is strong in the finals it means footy is healthy. Not sure how they'd fit more than 100,000 into the G but they'd have to... As shit as we are at the moment we still have 50k members. A Carlton Collingwood GF would break all the records. Let's hope you and I see one soon mate
Cheers. There are a few nice opposition supporters around.the win underneath the loss is the big Membership increase before the opening bounce of 2019 and massive crowds during the season.
