Bad luck guys, at least you know they had a genuine crack and it could have pretty easily gone the other way but wasn't meant to be.

In the end your club had a great season and bucks has more than just proved the doubters wrong, you'll be back thereabouts next year.

While this might be a bit of sour grapes, Woodward needs to never be a runner again for the Pies absolute ******* idiotic mistake. Cost us a chance to kill that contest.
Nah, stupid kick. Stevens was between two Eagles. A shit load more happened after that to influence the contest. Unfortunately it was the Eagles making the play. We were lucky to be that close.

first 2 goals on the last, we had the chance then but weagles missed their fair share too in the last

devestating to lose like that though

thats the life of a pies supporter

Almost started crying at the final siren. Probably would have but I thought it was best to be stoic. This one will hurt for a long time. Not sure how we bounce back from this. Feels like we might have missed our one chance.

You can't do much better without winning it

Not to individualise but that missed chance by Adams is going to linger on my mind for a long time.

So proud of the boys but I'm just gutted.

I just need to remember what a good time I had today before the result happened

I admit that I'm glad that our mods don't patrol our autopsy threads with the same vigour as other boards, because I'm glad we're not as fragile as those other boards. Let the trolling types show us how sad they are.

Probably. But a couple of those ruck infringement frees really kept them in the game and gave them momentum. No excuse, but first touch out of the centre to that forward line killed us.

Yet most were probably there. I thought the worst decision today was the 50m on Mihocek, Weagles supporters probably think the Howe holding the ball in the goal square.

Don't get many better chances at as flag being 29 points up in the first quarter.

This is where people will say that we will be back, and no doubt we will. But making a GF is hard and we will fall away next year.
FKIN LOL???

REALLY???

Have a little faith, this list has HUGE improvement in it, sadly you apparently can't see that.

Trades or draft people? Can’t see us drafting one of the top KPP at 17 this year. We will need to trade for one if Moore isn’t the option. I really think we need one more

The thought of Bucks and Pendles holding the cup had me excited all week. To lose by less then a goal and not see them hold that cup today is shattering. I love Collingwood but losing these GF’s really hurts.

I just like how the ump swallows his whistle when he paid a few of those blocks to WC during the game. Also Brodie constantly getting pinged for ruck infringements whist their ruckmen can man handle him. I partly blame Brodie though. We looked like we were getting on top early in that last and he gives a free away and they get a goal back straight away.

Hey guys commiserations, was a great game, one of the great grand finals I've seen. Can only understand after winning it last year and the elation I felt what it would be that you're feeling that you didn't quite get to the top of Everest. Hang in there and next year will be great for you guys I'm sure.
Thx bloke, good to get some good finals experience into this team.

Pushed Eagles to the wire twice, beat GWS and the Tigers is a pass for mine and now bring on the cricket.

See you Guys next year

They won it in the air.

You didn't watch the game if you think otherwise.

I watched every single minute of the game, including the last scoring passage of play which panned out in exactly the manner I described.

Like I said feel free to disagree as much as you like, but it was pretty clear to anyone watching we were short of run (in both directions) for most of the second half - indeed a lot of their marking superiority was borne from an inability to get numbers to a marking contest in that second half, especially on our half back line.
