While Stevens needs to get more of the footy he still averaged two goals and one behind for Swannies from just six games. Allot of potential to build into something more consistent.

Other than that - as much as it would be humourous taking Anthony -it doesn't suit our club - so best available mid for mine - or perhaps a fast attacking forward flanker.

I don't know much about those available so happy to defer to those that do.

Agree with Postman Pav on Andreolli - I'm not seeing what most of you guys are...

In general I'd prefer a 20-23 year old aged state league player or young delisted AFL player over a raw 18 year old colts prospect (save for the rookie draft).

I like Jarrad Blight and Rhys O'Keeffe out of the young delisted players.

I also think Hutchings has genuine AFL potential as a defensive mid, but perhaps doesn't quite suit us.

I'm not sure who the quality mature aged players are from the WAFL, SANFL or VFL as I haven't been following them to a great extent -

I always thought Nathan Phillips had the potential to play at the next level from previous years and sounds like he's raised his game to a much higher standard consistently this year - although did his knee mid-year IIRC.

Has anyone seen much of Caleb Shadbolt? Thoughts on his game?

Hurn loses some leg weight and builds fitness so as to move to the wing. Blayne Wilson is developed to play hurns current role.

I don't think Hurn will ever play on the wing. Not enough pace and his body shape isn't suited to running that extra distance.

OP for the last 18 months. Isn't that desirable for WCE recruiters? He's a sure bet....

Not sure whether Wilson is the right person for us... Nothing against him as a player cause I think hes underrated but after going big with 26 and 29 we are still in need for fast wingers/crumbers. In a few years we will be struggling to keep up with the likes of North Melbourne and Fremantle with their pace.

Wilson will last into 2 or 3 round rookie list. Good small forward pockets e.g. Cooyou and Milera are not usually a priority in national draft and slide but they are the first round picks on the rookie list e.g. Garlett

Chalwell or Eades (as long as he gets rid of that moustache) in PSD for mine Hams would be good but if we have to delist him prior to the PSD in order to upgrade him i don't think they'd bother cause I'm pretty sure GC have picks before us and even if the odds are low it's not worth the risk

and Isiah Stevens should be locked in as our #1 Rookie choice everything youd want from a rookie and should fit in well with broome and weedon (think theyre all from the some club?) and was also part of the 2010 BHP Billiton Iron Ore Indigenous Leadership Program which West Coast was a part of

188cm, great kick, good pace, above average in the air? You'd think that would've landed him in the national draft somewhere....Regardless, if he's been limited due to OP, perhaps we should nab him.
