[BAre we talking about the same Simon 'Boo Hoo I touched it, my fingers hurt' WaahWaahWiggins? Just because God's given him a decent build and skill at executing tackles doesn't mean he's tough where it counts, in the mentality. Any player who bitches on national TV about how the umps ripped him off is a sook. Sorry, but that's how it is.

Your coach and president were both whining about umpiring after the game. What's the difference?

See above, minus the 'national TV' bit.

Happens all the time. It's not great to watch but unfortunately it's prevalent. For example, remember Lethal whining about it....then the following week Leppitsch takes the most theatrical dive in history against Melbourne and he's rewarded. I suppose Leppitsch is soft too, eh?

Just in defence of some of the guys named as soft players - one of the common denominators with most of these guys are that they are very light players (J.Fraser maybe an exception).

It's an interesting topic this one - we never criticise a short or stocky player for not being able to take high marks (because they are physically incapable) yet we expect light skinny players to all play like Dermott Brereton or Leigh Matthews.

I would suggest with some of these guys it is self-preservation rather than softness
