So who nommed what? That's partly the bit I come here for, so I can judge all your tastes silently.

Who bummed Nancy Sinatra?

I nominated Nancy Sinatra.
I’ve entered three contests and had the oldest song nominated twice. Makes me feel old.

Votes were:

5 – Rodriguez
4 – Ann Pebbles
3 – Cliff Haywood
2 – Billie Eyelash (believe it or not this was the first time I’d listened to a song by her)
1 – Stiff Little F***ers

BM – The Magnetic Fields

Humble apologies to the good people of the Song Contest, but when the self appointed Commissioner effectively calls me out for cheating, only to confess, renege, and then deflect onto another contestant when proof of his tardiness is provided, then I walk away for a while.

Happy with that

I had some concerns people wouldnt like her - Sierra- vocal style . Best description was '' its like she is projecting her voice from a gramophone and doing it live''

Again this is why I play - to find out what pops up on my list and take a chance on listening.

Good thing is Sierra seems to like the 3 minute and other genre

Has a melt and can't even own it, even weaker.

Not here boyz.
Harvey im sure The Speaker will happily debate theology with you- if you search for GGz 'the value of Jesus in your life' is as good a place as any (not to be confused with GGz other fine thread 'the value of Satan in your life'.

Deary me Porps

And not at her expense

Normally Porps has an excellent and very good natured sense of humor.

It was directed at Harvey

See below.

Gee you all get melty when someone butchers the results and then buggers off dont you?
I hope you now all appreciate the fact that when I butcher them I hang around so you can all melt at me instead of each other!
I didn't have the best day yesterday so my bad for misreading something on the internet lol...

Grayson has the world's brunchiest sneer.
A thing of beauty.
He is magnificent.

Headmaster: You can't do this to me. Parents send their children to Greybridge just you be bullied by you.

School Bully: I'm afraid that's your problem, you scruffy little creature.

It's close to the single funniest 30 minutes of absurdist, brunchy humour I've ever seen.

I'm certain the bloke playing beside her is Ro from Twelve Foot Ninja.
Cant find any documentation saying who it is though.
Judging from when the song was released though I think they were touring the states around that time so it fits

Aes got second spot ey? I'm shocked.
I highly recommend everyone checking out his other stuff if you hadn't heard him before and liked the song. That is nowhere near one of his best songs.

Wow what a joke
Seemed like an uninspired choice. And performance.

I think that's more you than her.
The only one I really like is Ocean Eyes. I think it's incredible.
Not as much a fan of the others and yes I've listened through her album.
I prefer it when she doesn't have an effect covering her voice.
