The Stones Sticky Fingers album cover was a classic too and it even had a real zipper on the old albums.

I only had it on CD, I also bought Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band on CD as it had a great booklet as well as a great cover.

All of Roger Dean's covers are brill. My fave would probably be Fragile by Yes. A Question of Balance by the Moody Blues is great too. And Sgt. Peppers

Led Zep 3 had a fun cover with a spinning wheel

Thick As A Brick by Jethro Tull is an epic album with an epic cover - simulated newspaper with articles, pics and cartoons 1727438603055.png

I ignored the last quarter as it was junk stats.

I voted on impact when it counted. Im not seduced by stats.

5. Will Ashcroft
4. Joe Daniher
3. Callum Ah Chee
2. Kai Lohmann
1. Lachie Neale
B. Nick Blakey

Ashcroft reminds me of JHF. So damaging with each disposal. Inside 50s were crucial.
Daniher will be overlooked but was pivotal all over the ground and his work with Forte cannot be underestimated. He kicks 4 goals and he gets 5.
Ah Chee and Lohmann set up the win in the first half.
Neale for his solid contribution and clearances leading to the win.

Blakey is one of the most overated players in the game. Did essentially nothing in the GF. Did a couple of ok things then overcomplicated things leading to turnovers. Hes a liability for Sydney. Guldens disposals had zero impact aside from one inside 50 in the 1st quarter. Same for Grundy despite the stats saying he played well.

Warner was top 5 in the first then went missing.

Heeney and Rowbottom, lesser extent Florent are the only players who can hold their head high.

Also update, Ive been on a road trip today so havent looked at votes. Will do the votes later Sunday Evening.

No songs or Billies standing out.

I enjoyed the open round and one of the songs Id nearly forgotten about so it was nice to hear it again.
