bonny wouldn't put a team in sfl no chance.. there to busy fighting for players in peninsula in mpnfl and have 62 on there list.. they probably need even more players.. hallam are trying to make a reserves team by all reports maybe sfl could chase them?

I'm pretty sure Parkmore had one side last year and Mornington the preavious year and neither of those situations worked out that well for the SFL as IT WAS SEEN AS A PATCH UP JOB, most clubs found it difficult to work around. The SFL should stick with every club has 2 side's.If Bonbeach came in they would probably do a Dingley ANYWAY !!

How would they do a dingley??

The way i see it Bonbeach have to select there Normal U/18's, then there colts (which is a 2nd U/18's) then the remainder, who are the 3rd selected U/18's (qaulity players there i'm sure) to fill this SFL side. Then they will top it up with seniors who didnt get selected in there MPNFL senior side or Reserves side!! So pretty much there 3rd selected seniors (another group of qaulity players)

This team is gunna be full of superstars i'm sure!!

Its a bit of a kick in the face to sfl, surely Bonbeach wouldnt think this side will be successful would they??

The way i see it, let em in!!! I'm not sure how many of these players would stick around after a few weeks of getting flogged!!

Bonbeach's best option is combine the remainder players with a sfl team to make another colts team.....

madman i'd like to see bonbeach have a crack in the sfl but they'd struggle for numbers realistically.. id reckon seaford might be alright as a 3rd team with over 70 players and about 55 players sharing colts and 18s i think they would do it easily! but bonbeach i wouldnt think so

just wondering if everyone happy about the draw they got? Of course at the end of the day if your the best team it doesn't matter who you come up against, but found it interesting that we play mount away twice and the odds on favourite for the flag skye 3 times, but on the other hand i am glad we only play sth yarra twice- just a bit worried the cow is going to take me out!!!! Also interesting the navy boys got the longest road trip in the SFL twice (canterbury to cerberus) i would say thats a speacial request beause those boys hate drinking together!!

i am happy with skye's draw, we play cantebury, cerberus, sandown and soth yarra 3 times

it probaly wont happen though, heard from an ok source that AFL victoria have already ruled out footy before may!! a little dissapointing if thatys the case id say!!

If football vic are telling people no footy until may we may as well have a round robin comp every one plays each other once and final 4 play off. To put the season back that far seems to me to be a typical council-insurance "knee jerk reaction" as we have already had more rain than last year at this same point, for example how many times have you mowed your lawn so far and I dont mean your mates lawn ! We have some good growth take a look at the Bombers ground in perfect condition as is Dandy's, Dovetons and Cobras looks OK. Has anyone seen Canterbury,Mounts or Sth Yarra ground yet ?:confused:

Canterbury slowly boucing back but it has a lot of cricket played on it. Above average rainfall for november and december on track too, no reason for footy not to be played in april. Football vic need to aproach there advice on a league by league basis, as up echuca way etc it's still baron on the grounds, but down in the metro leagues and east gippy way the grounds are in great knick

MM i think your source is wrong, AFLVic don't set the draws or goven them, AFL Vic or Ballarat Uni (can't remember which one) did a study last year i think into the ground hardness and injurys and concluded that with the hardness of the grounds at the moment didn't increase injuries.

The reason the season was posponed last year was due to Glen Eira council and i think maybe Monash not allowing their clubs to use the grounds before a certain date

Big Pete, I heard you're writing an official complaint to the SFL because you feel that South Yarra is discriminating against you. Any truth in that?
From all reportrs sth yarra will be a very a strong team next year, with Neville at the helm there expecting alot of nth kews ex players from 2005-06 grand final teams to come across if this is true, they'll be the the team to watch.

Wrong 30meter dropkick, that was said last night by the president i knew nothing of it, then listened to you drunken message. Get your facts right Peter. Ringing the secretary and abusing him for 10 minutes is another disgusting act something which you have done too often, why dont you say it to these peoples faces if you have a concern dont hide behind your computer, you have verbally attacked to many innocent people at the club brades, norts etc Why would anyone want you at a club when all you do is abuse blokes here, have alook in the mirror, Any body else agree?

Big Rory Smeaton, or "Rornie" as he's known, will be the form full back of the comp this year. Spent a year in the twos honing his craft last year, but will be the nemesis of many full forwards this year. And he has pretty eyelashes. :D

Compared to this time last year, Mayfield Reserve (Mount's ground) actually looks like a sporting oval as opposed to a freshly harvested wheat field. Nice coverage of green(ish) grass, coupled with the fact that we are training elsewhere, should see the ground recover decently provided we keep getting occassional rain.
