Same thing as what happened with thechampishere apparently from ashwood..: we couldn't work out who it was but it was well known that their posts don't represent the thoughts of any players at ashy

Lol i really don't care what you think about where I am from. You still have a couple of weeks to figure it out.

I haven't been commenting much as I will be straight out honest. We have been absolute $hit#0u$€ last couple of weeks. Endeavour played well but our cr@p performance helped.

Tips for Round 16:

CPL over Ashwood by 15 points
Endeavour Hills over Moorabbin by 6 points
Black Rock over Hallam by 60 points
Lyndale over Sandown by 10 points
Mount Waverley over Dandenong by 80 points

Watch for Micks boys to slip out of the top 5 and for the mighty Falcons to get their run towards the finals started!

I thought we were avg at best, didn't use the wind & one of our lowest scores this season + we had 7 outs ;) look, cobracod likes ashwood as a club, always hang around after games & very welcoming at ashwood, but we will be taking that 5th spot.....

South Yarra are looking for a Steven Bradbury moment hoping the two sides in front of them Ashwood and Endeavour Hills fall over they could sneak into 5th they need to start by beating Ashwood this week.

Very interesting last 2 rounds SFNL would be happy with this situation:

Ashwood VS South Yarra & Moorabbin

Endeavour VS Lyndale & Black Rock

South Yarra VS Ashwood & Mt Wav

Any thoughts

What about Moorabbin vs CPL this weekend. Loser will miss the double chance in my book as Mount will roll over the top of them.

Unless Moorabin V CPL this weekend is a draw, Mount should move into 3rd spot after the dragons bye. Then round 18, both Moorabin and CPL look to have winnable games so Mount will just have to notch up a win against South Yarra to keep the double chance against whoever wins Moorabin/CPL game this weekend. My $$ is on Moorabin taking that one out.

4th/5th will be the loser of that game and probably Ashwood. I can't see EH getting over Black Rock in round 18, and their percentage is too low. So they need Ashwood to lose both games to have any chance. I don't see Ashwood winning round 18 either, so it may well come down to if Ashwood can beat SY this weekend.

Should also point out that Heatherton play Doveton in Div 2 this weekend. Last and 2nd last respectively and both on 8 points, the loser is pretty much a certainty to get relegated to Div 3 next year. Good weekend of footy ahead.

.

It's not that simple. Moorabbin are about 70 odd for/against differential in front of Mount, obviously points against count for more.

There's no blowout games either this weekend, Hallam's playing Dandenong. Balck Rock vs Sandown is probably Mount's best chance for a big percentage booster.

If CPL beat Moorabbin, Mount might just pip Moorabbin on percentage, it will come down to the last rounds results, not just a win.

I wouldn't say EH have "no chance". They just need Ashwood to lose both remaining games against South Yarra and Moorabin.

The non-serious part of that post was Black Rock falling to 3rd. They would need to lose both their last 2 games for that to happen. The post also goes on to suggest CPL make it to the GF from 4th. I don't think that's happened since Mount did it 2009?

Didn't Southern Dragons make it & win it from 5th in 2011??

That's pretty much all I know. Heard a few Hallam players are heading there and a former Essendon 2's player might be leading things.
Lyndhurst lightning have layed the foundations for next season, i was to believe it would bethe SFNL to be played out of Lyndhurst oval Marriott Waters.

Lyndhurst Football and Netball Club hopes to add a senior men's football team to its ranks in 2016.

By JARROD POTTER

LYNDHURST Football and Netball Club has taken the initial steps towards creating a senior men’s football team in 2016.
With the South East Juniors club expanding rapidly in recent years, since moving to Marriot Waters Reserve and taking the Lyndhurst moniker, the next step forward for the Lightning was to push into senior football.
Lyndhurst FNC president Andrew King said a group of interested footballers asked the club if joining the Lightning was a possibility and talks have grown from there with nearly 20 players already keen to become part of the Lightning’s first senior squad.
“We’ve had a couple of interested people over the last year or so – had some interest from different parties, but never able to co-ordinate it,” King said.
“Seems to be more of a co-ordinated attack and we have 19 at this stage in relation to one group.
“They’ve come down and have a bit of a training run.”
Lyndhurst has been in preliminary contact with all the regional football leagues surrounding the Cranbourne-area suburb with South East FNL, Eastern FL, VAFA, MPNFL and Southern Football League all consulted.
At this very early stage, King thought the club would pursue a bid to join the Southern Football League, but wanted to solidify their numbers as its first priority.
“We’ve had some brief, initial conversations with those leagues and where they think we’d be best placed to go from here,” King said.
“Without committing to anything, Southern is probably where we’d pursue our interest at this stage – it’s probably the one that’s the best fit for us.
“Once we get our numbers right and get a commitment from the seniors and the right amount to play we can take it further.”
Adding netball and Youth Girls football to its stable of teams in 2015, the Lyndhurst Football and Netball Club is going from strength to strength and King couldn’t be prouder to see the Lightning expand into senior ranks.
“We’re flying – Youth Girls this year, netballers this year in the first season – that runs six monthly – first season is about to come to a close and we’re going to add three more teams for that,” King said.
“Things are certainly moving forward – Lyndhurst is the place to be at the moment – and it’s all about the numbers for the senior male team.”
The club also confirmed senior women’s football was something it would consider and was open to creating a junior-senior pathway for its female footballers as well in conjunction with the Victorian Women’s Football League.
“We’d entertain that – at least one of our girls that will finish the Youth Girls this year and at the moment we don’t have an avenue for her, but with our flexibility and growth a ladies team is something we’d put it on in a heartbeat,” King said.

They got themselves a VERY GOOD set up out there too.

Black rock to get a hold of the cobras at thier jungle.
Hillbillies to move into the 5 with an easy win over the dales.
Moorabbin to get over the line by a kick.
The yarras will be too fresh for the wooders.
Hallam to win against dandy with #96 for hallam throwing cheap ones then #9 for dandy returning the favour
