Adelaide and St Kilda have met 39 times:
Code:
    Played Won Lost Drawn
Home 18 11 7 1
Away 19 3 16 0
Finals 2 1 1 0

So we've only ever beaten the Crows 15 times in their short history in the AFL and they have beaten us 24 times. Their record at home is exceptional.

Their recent form against us:

R 7, 2015, Adelaide Crows 18.11 (119) d St Kilda 10.13 (73) at Adelaide Oval
R 23, 2014, Adelaide Crows 22.9 (141) d St Kilda 9.8 (62) at Adelaide Oval
R 4, 2014, St Kilda 7.8 (50) at Etihad Stadium d by Adelaide Crows 20.16 (136)
R 8, 2013, Adelaide Crows 12.15 (87) d St Kilda 6.11 (47) at AAMI Stadium
R 12, 2012, Adelaide Crows 17.13 (115) d St Kilda 16.15 (111) at AAMI Stadium

Their recent form:

R 6 Saturday, April 30 Adelaide Crows 14.13 (97) d Fremantle 8.16 (64)
R 7 Saturday, May 07 Western Bulldogs 18.15 (123) d Adelaide Crows 17.6 (108)
R 8 Friday, May 13 Adelaide Crows 11.6 (72) d by Geelong Cats 13.20 (98)
R 9 Saturday, May 21 Gold Coast Suns 11.8 (74) d by Adelaide Crows 22.17 (149)
R 10 Saturday, May 28 Adelaide Crows 15.17 (107) d GWS Giants 13.7 (85)

Adelaide have lost one match at home this year - against Geelong

Saints interstate form is nothing to write home about:

R 1 Sunday, March 27 Port Adelaide 20.13 (133) d St Kilda 15.10 (100)
R 4 Saturday, April 16 Hawthorn 13.9 (87) d St Kilda 13.6 (84)
R 8 Sunday, May 15 West Coast Eagles 20.12 (132) d St Kilda 3.11 (29)

but our recent form is actually quite reasonable (if you blink past the WCE match):

R 6 Saturday, April 30 Melbourne 15.6 (96) d by St Kilda 20.15 (135)
R 7 Sunday, May 08 St Kilda 11.9 (75) d by North Melbourne 11.16 (82)
R 8 Sunday, May 15 West Coast Eagles 20.12 (132) d St Kilda 3.11 (29)
R 9 Sunday, May 22 St Kilda 16.13 (109) d Essendon 9.9 (63)
R 10 Saturday, May 28 St Kilda 15.11 (101) d Fremantle 10.7 (67)

If I was the St Kilda defence, I'd remind Eddie Betts how he left the ground and broke the jaw of a young Nathan Wright and stopped a bright young star in his tracks.

"He hasn't been the same since"

He isn't a dirty player, but think this would put him off.

Do what ya gotta do.

Weird confidence in here. I am not looking forward to it at all. Betts, Jenkins, Tex and Lynch will be way too much to handle, and could get ugly if the mids don't come to play

Really need to give a strong effort in this one. Very important that we show improvement from our 46 point loss against them last season, reckon we'll be fired up to ensure what happened in Perth doesn't happen again.

Would like to see Billings spend a quarter or two very close to goal and see the genius come out.

Something something positive attitudes?

I'm expecting nothing less than a 10 goal win.

Jimmy...

You got dropped, now prove to the coach that he won't need to do that again next week.

You'd hope he has something to prove.

Hi guys,

We need a massive game from everyone involved.

If Hickey can give us first hands on the ball we need our forwards to take marks and convert when they have the chance.

If we don't get first hands on the ball we need our defence to play at 110% and not give Eddie or Tex the chance to do their things.

I think we will get beaten today but I hope the lads do everything to ensure that we put up the best fight we can.

GO sainters!
