It’s just so tiresome. When we went as the top contested team over the past month that had nothing to do with Ross. But now that we are going to lose here you come crawling out of the woodwork and it’s all his fault. I bet you love it.

Just give it a rest in the game day thread. It’s no wonder this forum is dying a slow death with trotted out little pre-conceptions by people just so desperate to send them.
Why would I love it? This has been one of the most putrid seasons in memory, which is saying something considering we have been awful for 12+ years.

Huge question marks on Lyon. Game style is gross, but worse the effort is not even consistently there. A lot of the kids have gone backwards. Blokes like Bonner have getting games all year, and we are hearing stupid stuff like Owens "gets lost" in the midfield. Very alaming. How about fixing it ffs. Back him in. Don't trust Ross to develop kids at all. Just a stubborn stubborn unit.

Overall, we appear to be going backwards, list is not that bad, our effort and game plan are. We have had a half decent month of footy when the season was done? We supposed to celebrate that? Who cares.

I'm sorry, I couldn't handle anymore, I was thinking of having the autopsy early 🤣😂😂😇.

3 points ahead of the Swans. We'll need 2 goals in the last to get the job done. Gonna be close.

Q3
In the penultimate to D-Day, the Lions only managed to extend their lead by 2 goals, as we kicked 2 to their 4 and thus showing that in Q4, we can kick the 10-0 required to win.

In other news, nothing really changed, the Lions do as they please, get reward for effort and run out comfortable winners, but stranger things have happened...

A lot of 'kids gone backwards'? really

Players who have imporoved this year

Battle
Pou
Sharman
Nas (gone to another level)
Windy before his injury

Agreed Chito has had a hard year,
He's played much as a mid sized forward in a team that could hardly use it going forward

He's played

Garcia
Shoenmakers
Collard
Wilson
Hastie

Reckon if anything he's been developing well. Midfield and forward connection been the problem the whole year.

That simple.

He's given midfield time to

Nas, Owens, Pou too

Which is far more than we win in case you haven't noticed.

This team picks and chooses when they want to turn up physically.

You can forgive Ross for simply not having the cattle, and players with ordinary skills. However, we get outworked far too often under his tenure, and mentally look shot.

The lack of physicality is embarrassing and happening way too regularly. That is 100% on Ross and the coaching staff. Ffs, look at the physique on our blokes versus other teams. Looks like we don't even hit the weight room. It's embarrassing.
Embarrassing? That’d be your constant “kick the Ross” line ??? That’s embarrassing you were quiet last week…now why was that ?
Back to bed time …

Just remember that Gringo thinks that Lachie Neale isn’t a star

Our young forwards have been smacked in the air.

Harris Andrews owning everything. Missing King big time.
