They should've used George Lucas story for 7-8-9. Yeah, Star Wars is Disney's now, but the Skywalker saga is his. The Disney Star Wars films are much better made than the prequels, but the prequels have a better story. Lucas ideas + Disney's production would've made the ST much better than it turned out to be. There is one thing, though. I've heard that Lucas wanted the main character in his new trilogy to be a 14-year-old girl. That's the only thing I'd change because Daisy Ridley is great as Rey. She wasn't the problem, it was the way her Mary Sue character was written.

Disney have learnt a very valuable lesson.

When you start a new trilogy in a franchise you have to an overarching plan/story that connects all three films it's why trilogies like Back to the Future,Lord of The Rings etc are so good.

Shocked they thought it would work.

I'm curious to see the reaction from the general public/fans once they get to watch the film because right now all the reviews are coming from critics who review movies for a living.

I think what I'm going to enjoy most from this film is JJ taking a big dump one Rian whilst sticking his middle finger.
