How long does it take to get a full rounds results up on the website? Are they sending em in by carrier pigeon?

Not sure how long you've been around a football team brock, but one player doesn't make a team so a statement like that makes me think you're new to the game.

Was having a look at the teams on the weekends and there were a few noticeable absentees from a few side. B.Stirling who kicked 5 for kenmore against robina didn't play and Hughy was out for us and he kicked 6 the week before.

Going to be a very close year, hopefully it'll stay this way.

Top of the table clash this weekend as we take on kenmore at their home ground, any word on why kenmore had to play their home game at beenleigh?

Rawlins overseas
french out with injury, should be back this week.
Burgers O'Brien is coaching not sure is he playing.
Lyon played all of 3 games last year before moving to sydney
Ashwood moved back to vic.
They had a bloke called clint watts play 2's on the weekend, he should make them better you would think.

I looked at kings and calaundra list from ther grand final sides and both have lost 12 players since then also kings played a few mounties players in round two and I would say player didn't like that to much.


Side note to all- has the comp slipped?

Calaundra showed that they are still able to play good footy, with some players still to come in they will only get better....... same goes for alexhills with players to come back into ther team also. Conditions suited the home team with the bigger bodies.

one thing that stood out from the sideline was Alex Hills looked very young, so once they get a few games together they should go ok.

Very Young..Werent at home with those conditions...
Bit of a learning curve i think...

One thing is for sure...caloundra are still the benchmark...


Tips for this weekend??

It's so funny when people say got down to have a look at the game or watched from the sidelines, it's obvious that you played in the game .

And my tips are hornets will get up, if the big fullforward for alex gets his weekly coke and pies then they should get up, caloundra another win, uni also get up and then I reckon robin will take out the clash of the blue jerseys.

I like how this comment had been overlooked. Everyone I have spoken to in many different teams seem to agree that the standard this year is quite poor. Nothing compared to a few years ago when yeronga were the benchmark. Quite sad.

My tips are - bears if they have their 6 decent players playing, alex if the pie eater is hungry for goals and not just sausage rolls, caloundra because coorparoo seem to be jostling for last place, Uni will knock off yesterday's heroes at yeronga and Wynnum in a nailbiter on the primary school oval with the radiation problems.

Yep it it is him, winessed it first hand, he is still very handy, great signing by the devils, not much you can say, they were too good. god he has a pair of hands on him!

dont think he will play too many though for them (assistant coach of brisbane lions), interesting to see how yeronga go without him... their midfield was seriously solid as well.... but a good game of footy, comp getting even more interesting... any stories from other games?

Bears beat Aspley by 9 points in a nailbiter. We were down by 3 points with less than 2 minutes to go and Tim Plummer took two huge pack marks to kick the last two goals of the match. Unbelievable finish.

So Jade Rawlings plays for yeronga now? Good for them I guess. Seems like it was the weekend for ring-ins then. Anyone know how long until Aspley can't play their top level guys on permit? They had a bye yesterday so we were stuck playing four of them.
