The Derby tonight got me thinking, what is the win-loss % for WCE, FRE, ADE, PA when they are the nominal home team in derbies as opposed to overall record. Wondering if the nominal home teams have got any advantage now they have a reasonable sample size and have a higher percentage of crowd support.

WC 12-11 2192-1918 114.3%
Fr 9-13 1826-1933 94.5%

Ad 12-9 2091 1791 116.8%
PA 12-9 1901-1840 103.3%

Sydney are currently on the bottom of the ladder with a percentage of 76.6, yet there are four teams above them with an inferior percentage. Has any team sitting on the bottom ever experienced this before, or perhaps had five teams above them with inferior percentages?

Hawthorn had six clubs above it with a worse percentage after R9 1970.

Five clubs
Essendon R7-9 2006
Sydney R3 1994
Essendon R4 1992
Hawthorn R8 1970
Carlton R11 1924

Four clubs
Sydney R6 2017
Western Bulldogs R10 2003
Western Bulldogs R3 2002
Hawthorn R3 1970
Hawthorn R4 1960
South Melbourne R10 1943

I know Adelaide is the highest scoring team, but I wonder the contribution from midfielders.

I was wondering if someone could tell me the % of scoring output from non-forwards league wide per team ATM?

Four points.

Next lowest is 202 points.

Cheers SJ.

202 is more likely to be score than 4 I think.

I then assume the next numbers are:

203.
210.
212.
214.
215.
217.
218.
221.
223.
224.
226.
227.
230.
232.
234.
235.
237.

Then, of course, 240 onwards.

210 has been a final score on two occasions. All the rest are indeed missing.

I just remembered.

Carlton (30 . 30 . 210) beat Hawthorn who scored 82.

What was the other 210 score?

Where does North Melbourne's 64 unanswered points against Adelaide stand in the list of most points scored by a team in a quarter of a VFL/AFL match without the opposing team scoring?

Does anybody have a list of players who have kicked 5+ goals in a quarter?

I know Buddy has done it a couple of times, Moorcroft did it when he took mark of the year, Petrie...

Is Geelong's 70 unanswered points the record for any quarter?

South Melbourne (17.4.106) in the last quarter vs St Kilda I think the 1910's.

They won that game 189-18.
