Unsure why there is such 49ers hate on here. Unless it's based on fan bases, but could make a case pretty much all fan bases have turds in it.

Haven't won a SB in nearly 30 years.
Have had multiple tough superbowl and conference championship game heartbreaks in last decade and recent history is about falling short
Underdog story QB
Star players on offense are all likeable personalities (kittle, Cmac, deebo, aiuyuk, Juzyzk)
No real dislikable player

Think would be a perfect fit for neutrals given they are going against a possible dynasty that's getting cockier by the minute.

Fair points but I think Kyle Shanahan has something to do with a lot of the hate also. I've explained my situation and why I can't stand them, got nothing against the players at all.

Greenlaw's a ****wit and a thug. Trent Williams is a ****wit and thug. Lenoirs a ****wit, Deebos a w***er.

I'm sure there's more... do I need more??

We really don't have enough time for me to list every reason why I dislike them... I have no issues with the BF fans on here, if that helps. Nah, **** it, I hate them too...

Jalen Hurts scoring three touchdowns and a two-point conversion were the first 20 points ever scored in Super Bowl play by a former Alabama player. The same goes for Missouri, which finally got on the Super Bowl scoreboard after Nick Bolton's touchdown.

I dunno if I'd call many players on the 49ers likable. I admire some of their players but that's about it.
I do like McCaffrey though, one of my favorite players in the league since he was drafted.
Their coach is a tool and the organization just has an annoying arrogance about them which based on their past 30 years isn't entirely earned.
The underdog story of Purdy is annoying and I would love to see his lame ass throw a few passes on the Panthers to see how he goes if he's so special.

The Purdy hate is pretty wild.

Dude was the last pick of the draft, the only Mr Irrelevant to take a snap at QB, throw a TD, start a game, win a game, make the playoffs, win playoff games, go to the Superbowl etc etc etc. he's a 2nd year player who's taken his team to the Superbowl. Not even Mahommes did that with his 2nd year.

He made some big time throws and scrambled to keep plays alive and rushed more yards than Lamar this week - and was one of the key reasons why the 49ers are headed to LV.

But because of the team he's on and where he was drafted this he's held to some bizarre standard.

Is he the complete package? he'll no, otherwise he'd be drafted in the first round. But for us he fits our system and can elevate it when needed.

From where he's come from, and what he's achieved - it's a bonkers story.

You could have just said because they have bounced the Packers out of the playoffs for pretty much the last 2 decades....not sure what all that other stuff is.

But at the end of the day, people can hate what they want.

But I do get some of the hate and more importantly the "whiners" tag.

I read on another board some fan posted that the SB wasn't at a neutral venue because the team associated with that stadium played in the same Division as the Chiefs so they had a distinct advantage seeing the venue every year.

I mean wow.

To be fair, we played their last season, and also in preseason....so the venue is a pretty much a push on GameDay experience.

Was gonna say campaigner fans, campaigner players, campaigner coach but looks like I got beaten to it.

Mind you KC fans are becoming increasingly insufferable. Shame, as they used to be easy to root for

I don't know anyone who follows them.

I've always had a soft spot for them and I think people just assume before Mahomes they were never that good but they had some very good teams in the 90's and not much luck.

You could say currently at 3 super bowls that that might be unders for all the talent they have had in the last 30 years.

Graduated from Oklahoma. Therefore wasn't drafted out of Alabama

That is legitimately only a small percentage of my issues... it's not as if I've never seen us do the same to you guys. I've seen 4 wins, 5 losses against the Niners in playoffs, so it's really only minor. But since you're wondering about all this other stuff...

j/k, I won't derail this thread...

More meant their US fans. Don't know anyone that supports them here either. Waiting for all the rusted on Aus based Pats fans to shift allegiances.

They're all well equipped to play the mental gymnastics that allows themselves to pretend Mahomes isn't a protected species given they've been doing it for Brady for 25 years
