Here's my first crack and shows u some prices on some players..

The foward line is stacked with heaps of options, same as mids as always, but defenders theirs Hardley any mid/def options that I like so far

nice, i would steer clear of goddard though. kpp's are always a liability, let alone a first year player (no matter how good he is going to be! ;) ). like the saints' dominance.

Their always seems to be 1 quality back who plays 22 games and averages around the 60mark. Last year it was gardiner and a little bit of Cameron before he got injured, also georgiou. Before that the likes of talis etc..
I don't expect the 100+ score but 20-22 games can be just as important when the depth in defence sucks this year
Not bad.

Whats membrey's price?
172k and he is a fwd.

Pretty steep considering he was 123k last year

Bloody hell! Nearly 50k price rise off one game! was going to slot him in on the bench..... might rethink that.

Keep an eye on Wright in the preseason too, Richo wants to chuck him in the middle. Im not convinced yet though as one, he has never been a huge accumulator and two, isn't clean enough for SC.

I love all three formats, RDT is the serious one for me - been top 100 for past 5 years. Last year my highest was 4th but fell away to around 70 from memory as I went overseas. Year before that 20th and so on. Fantasy & SC always aim for top 500

Enough about me, but happy to help out a brother or two if and when its required.

Markworth could be a huge cash cow IMO.[/QUOTE]

Gets nowhere near enough of the ball and is a massive vest risk.

Only if he smashes his first two games and isnt sub in the third

One ruck bench and 3 for mids makes things interesting!

I relied on my 4th ruck alot this year with injurys.

I liked the idea of having a half decent forward ruck. Played him as a forward, but rotated him to the ruck when necessary ( paired with a rookie ).
Worked well enough with plenty of mid/fwds and good options on my mid bench, but Tom Nichols did not have a good season.

Newnes is the one that could either be boom or bust. He's at that price where you might be able to go for a more proven defender, but we're all predicting a huge year and more midfield time for him, so he could be on that break out SC player.

How much is Steven? All things equal, he should be back to his best next year and at his peak, he was a very handy SC scorer. Plus his injury affected year should bring down his starting price.

Started my team tonight. There's some value in the 1st year players

+1. I love the disposal efficiency aspect of Supercoach.
Agree with the efficiency.
But they have a stupid scaling aspect.
Also the cyril effect.
Pumping up players scores for no apparent reason sometimes.
I dont believe anyone who says they understand it fully.
Afl fantasy for me.
Stats are real.

I have Jack Newnes in the quick side i put together earlier. It'll depend on how he performs in the Nab Cup/Challenge before i lock him in.

Jack Steven is $455,900. Bargain IMO especially if he gets back to his 2013 average of 110.
