Get on Will Schofield, wont miss a game this season (that is if he doesnt get injured). He is your regular 50-80 type points scorer.

Too pricey for that kind a score CK.

$248,000 (SC) with 50 average.

Yuk. :)

Yeah.

Im waiting one more week to use a) see if he retains his spot and b) see how he backs up his 100 odd.

As I have Selwood on the pine doing SFA I must be careful. :)

What do you think about Houlihan when Hurn Hunter Lecca and Masten are back in? Gone?

who else had cox as their captain? 304 points was very nice. 4 players i'm looking at ATM. Dale Thomas, Sam Butler, Mark Lecras, TIm houlihan and Trent Cotchin. My forward line is abit too KPP orientated and i would like someone who is a ballwinner like thomas. i could take out roughead and put thomas in. Butler is listed as 206000 which could be an absolute steal as he has proven he can hold an average of 20+ touches per week, but may take a while to get back to full fitness etc. Lecras is at 232 and never gets many touches, unless we use him more as a midfielder now. Cotchin is cheap and is getting goals and kicks, which is good, but my midfield is stacked with talent (ablett, murphy, judd :(, kornes, palmer, deledio with masten and morton on the bench, so there isnt many in there worth trading. Houlihan is very cheap and would replace rance as a benched defender who could come in if need be. Thomas is the one i'm looking at the most, followed by houlihan. Any advice?

beatlesmith - I'd be looking at cashing down (to v.low/min wage players) some of your cash cows that have risen and peaked and getting in some premium/elite players (guys that can average 90+ for forwards/backs and 100+ for mids) that will substantially improve your team, rather than wasting trades with mid priced types (i.e. Thomas, Butler, LeCras)

i ended up trading hawkins and gamble (who are out of form/out of the team) for jarryd morton and medhurst up forward. Morton got 75 last game and according to the hawks will be in the team for at least next week. I still have mckinley as an emergency just in case. My team is now:
Back: Gilbee, wirra, mcleod, gram, bradshaw, ellis, waters with myers and rance on the pine
Mid: Murphy, Judd, Kornes, Ablett, Deledio, Palmer with C.Morton and masten on the bench
Forwards: J.Brown, Roughead, Franklin, rioli, medhurst, kennedy and J.Morton with mckinley and sellar on the bench
rucks: Cox and gardiner with kreuzer and leuenberger on the bench.

Wirra, Mcleod, Waters and M.Murphy are struggling for points ATM, but have proven to be genuine ballwinners so should be racking them up soon.

Hi Guys, you are gonna get asked this question about 50 times this week so I'll put it out there:

How many more games will we see Wilkes play from here on in. I know hunter is back in 4 weeks, so logically is he the only threat to Wilkes losing his spot?

Do him and Spangher play similar possies? [i.e could Sphanger come in for Wilkes any time soon?]

Also, from what I've seen lately of WC, Staker seems to not be playing key defender...do you seem him staying out of defence as the third tall?

I'm hoping that Wilkes could play another 4-5 games in a row from here...

If you can afford, look at M Stokes from Geelong. Only 317K this week, Got 111 and still went down $7600 or so. If Thomas is a similar price I'd take Stokes, who is averaging 87.

Alright so we've heard how Wilkes will probably lose his spot soon, but what about Houlihan? Is he likely to maintain his spot?

Not with his body size and frame. Too skinny to last more then 4 weeks without needing a break. Got a feeling when Hurn returns he may lose his spot

However this year has been a deadset lottery in selecting our side. Who knows. Mr T could walk onto the field next week.
