Based on the fact that he is older and therefore more likely to play more games according to those who price the new players................?

1st Round PSD picks are priced more, similar to 1st round national draft players
I'm hearing rumours Scott Selwood is in for a big year.. how accurate are these, and do you think hes good value for DT at 250,000?
He should be because he's entering his 3rd year but for some reason I just don't see it. Somehow, unlike Masten and Ebert, Scott seems very raw to me.

Waters played in the intraclub match last weekend and did well.
I'm not certain he'll line up in round 1, I think we might bring him in after a few WAFL games, but he's someone you should buy at some stage, considering his price.

With the number of good rookie choices in the midfield, is the following midfield too risky with a loaded up forward line and defence.
Mid: Bartel, Cooney, Masten, Strauss, Trengove, Martin, (Jetta & Shuey)
And does any see value in Barry Hall @ 280k

Jimmy, do you think that Sheppard is behind Smith with regard to the amount of games he will play this year?
I wouldn't really know at this point. I'd suspect that Smith is behind Sheppard just because historically we like to showcase our first round picks for a few rounds but, like I said, it's too hard to tell this early.
Anyone running a DT league with a spare spot? PM me a league number if you do cheers

Hows Scotty Selwood travelling WC fans? At 257k in the backs for dream team, I think he provides good value as my 5th back
One of the poorer performers of NAB Round 1, I have offloaded him off my team. However I'd keep an eye on his remaining preseason games because he does have the potential.

Barry Hall will improve his DT numbers at the dogs so he should be a improved DT player, and at the least will make you some cash.

Hey guys can anyone help me out with the JJK? seems to be over his fringe player day's by being added to the leadership group(IIRC) and looks to be good for around 3 goals a game. do you guys think he improve his average?

I've got him in my SC team. He should maintain the top work rate which makes him a viable option despite being a KP and with some better delivery from WC's mids (fingers crossed) he should rack up some improved numbers.
The thing I like about JK is he will run up the ground and involve himself in the game if the WC midfield is struggling, so he's less likely to go missing if we're getting smashed.

thanks for that. I now what you mean about getting himself involved, He sort of plays in the porpyzia mold in that way I think. I really like JK as a player I think he'll be in for a good year.

Quite simply I think anyone who doesnt have Luke Shuey in both SuperCoach and Dreamteam should be automatically disqualified from competition. Get on it boys

1st off with Hall. He'll be a good cash cow at that price but like any big power forward he'll have a huge one then a really quiet one. I tend to prefer players that are a little more consistent from week to week.
Your midfield - for me you have one too many rookies. At some stage your bound to have a DNP and no one to fill their spot as the young fellas generally don't play more than half the games in the 1st year.

beau waters will he be up and running for round 1? if so at 151,000 in supercoach is he worth picking up
Not so much the numbers that worries me with Bazza but his age.
Can his body hold up to another season? He certainly struggled last year and while he looked good last night he is looking old and because of his size I reckon he will miss a few this year with soft tissue injuries.
