Yeah, would also love to hear some local thoughts on this guy. Seemed to perform okay preseason... was it foolish to include him in my side?

Well, I hope not because he's also in my side, partly because I feel obligated being his BF sponsor and all. But seriously, watching him last week get around 25 posessions in the WAFL I was pretty impressed. His team got beaten by 8 goals but I believe he only had 1 kicked on him. Seemed to control the backline very well, is a very good spoiler but did run and carry the ball as well. Am a bit surprised he didn't get named as an emergency just in case Hunter didn't come up. But give him a little time, I don't doubt the Eagles intend to play him this year, I just don't know when and how many games.

Cheers. Thanks for that.

How does Big Coxy usually go in the wet? Have him currently as Captain for the weekend but with the predicted rain im not sure the conditions will suit him when it comes to winning as many disposals and taking as many marks. Can see him knocking up 30 odd hit outs but with slippery conditions I'm not sure how it will effect his mobility around the ground which is such a strength. Can any of you guys shed some light on this for me?

Only WC game I can distinctly remember being wet last season was vs. Carlton @ Subi R4 he got 124 (but I think it was only wet in the 1st half, the sun came out in the 2nd - from memory).

EDIT: Think it was raining in the QF vs Port as well - Cox got 103.

whats the go with Ben Mckinley? when will he be ready to step up? and any specific reason why he has not played much? ie injury/attitude? didnt he get drafted with big wraps? cheers :thumbsu:

hey guys does anyone know why rosa has been dropped? have him in my dream team and he looked ok in last weeks game...

1. He's too sort. Doesn't put his head over the ball.
2. Dispolsal and decision making can be poor, espcially long passes. kicks them too high and floats them.

You can't be an outside player who doesn't use it well.

With what happened in the match today, is it pretty much time for Jmac to come in? Come on if it wasnt this week, it surely has to be next week.

J-Mac's a chance this week. Has been putting the runs on the board in the WAFL.

Embley - spent a much more time on the wing vs Adelaide.

Lynch - I don't think he'll improve much, if at all. He's working up the ground a lot more and not getting as many possessions in scoring range - which will definitely impact on his score. I've had him the previous 2 seasons, but didn't get him this season.

Brett Jones is having a good season so far with two good DT scores and a game in the NAB cup...can he sustain this form for the rest of the season?

Re: Supercoach and Dream Team questions - ask them in here!

What is the goss on Josh Kennedy? Is he due to come into the side soon??

It seems to be a week 2 week basis as in 1 week he'll play a tight checking role on Burton where as the week b4 he played alot wider hence more touches, still an above average play who will probably average around 85+

May play this week or in the very near future, probs not the best DT option though

so you think he'll average high even when his cheaking someone closley in the backline, 85+ do you really think he'll average that high....who is the main small backmen stopper you have, is it him?

Probably more selwood i would say. Nicoski & Hurn used to be it, but they are out of sorts of late.
Brett Jones gets a good score each week as he runs well and is a major cog in the eagles backline. Was probably our only defender that could hold his head up last week, although glass played ok with a knee injury.
Takes a lot of marks, tackes well and averages around 15-25 touches a game, for his price he is almost a must have.

What's happening with Scott Selwood as far as completing year 12 and missing games? Is he likely to be in the side for a reasonable period or would Ebert/Masten/Mcnamara be a safer choice for the bench?

Do u guys think ben mckinley will continue to keep his spot? I cant see u guys playing him, lynch, seaby, hansen and kennedy in the same foward line and out of all those im tipping mckinley to make way for kennedy, even though after watching the game, think hes a mile better than hansen right now
