Surely has to be Justin Westhoff just playing inspired football atm have to give it to the young bloke has copped it from all parts since the promise he showed in 2007 really putting together some solid footy this year
Lets wait and see how he goes against quality opposition.

I am impressed by the form of one Matthew Stokes. A hero in Geelong's 2007 finals campaign, Stokesy became the villain in 2008 when he played the GF injured. Since then he has been maligned, and some would say, justifiably so.

At the end of 2012 Stokes was openly spoken of as trade bait. In 2013 he is easily top 3 at Geelong, is our leading possession gatherer and is playing like an All Australian.

Hartlett -with his elite kicking skills -he could become the premier midfielder in the competition

When you look at Pt Adelaide -there improvement is not really a fresh coach and all the rest of it -there is actually a bit of quality on their list -which up till this year -i never knew existed

The problem is their quality players were all playing like poor quality (or in Hartlett's case perennially injured). However their drafting and trades over the last few years look very good. To my chagrin. Not a good time for them to be improving for us when we're minus top draft picks to improve our side with.

To be fair, he usually has 3 or 4 good games a year, he's just having them all at once this year. Will go back to being the shittest player to pull on a football jumper soon.

Gotta go for Neade. I don't think anyone was expecting him to be so good. Not only is he fulfilling the (rather optimistic) hopes for a new Rodan, but he's also laying some absolutely incredible tackles for someone of his size.

One of the most exciting players I've seen this year so far, and I can only hope to see him in Port's colours for much longer than Rodan was.

Chris Masten the biggest improver at WC by a mile.

Averaging 28 touches a game from the first 6. Loving his pace and work rate through the middle.

Only 5 free kicks though and no high tackles that I can recall. Needs to work on that.

Yep, although it's not really a surprise for most West Coast supporters after last year and the back end of 2011..having a great year so far.

Westhoff has really dropped off against better quality opposition

Gone from dominating games to being averagely ok. Hasn't been poor the last couple of weeks, still gets involved and takes a few grabs. Been throwing his body in, so can't really fault him too much.

Jaeger O'Meara

Just burst the lines so well, isnt scared to take on his opponent and has alot of foot speed. Just about a ready made midfielder.
