Media Swamprats Folding

Just over two seasons ago the Alberton Swamprats submitted a bid to get back into the greatest fantasy competition on Bigfooty, the SFA. The motto of, if you build it they will come came true and in their first season back in the competition after twice folding the Swamprats were on top of the world by making the finals. This year the tables were turned, the Swamprats started well enough recruiting two high profile players but both on opposite ends of the spectrum in regards to popularity. The club recruited well internally and had a great leadership group in place. But after their first round loss the fur started to fall from the once dominant Rats. Players retired early, some were suspended, some went on leave and others on holiday. The captain MP questioned whether he should be leading the club as the knives were being sharpened by his future successors in Noobz0r and spookism . By the last match against the Royals it was clear that moral was at an all time low and the subsequent loss to the other expansion team was pretty much icing on the cake for a team that was at its lowest point in its history. After much deliberation with the leadership group it was decided that the club should fold immediately............
