guess i'm the only moore fan

he doesn't get the ball much, but he does use the ball well (unlike 80% of our list)... he's a good shot for goals.... and he's impossible to tackle

his return to the seniors this season.... and some of his performances last season, gives me confidence that he will be an integral part of the side

he needs only lift his disposals.... but moore isn't the type of player for you to expect large disposals..... if he can get his numbers to 14-18 then that's his job done

i don't think we should bother with Lovett or Seaby. Bit too close to 30 for a rebuilding team. Let's trade some players, Amon, for example, for some picks and be patient. We need to get as many picks in this draft as we can. I'd say even look at trading O'Keefe. His year has been great and his value must be very high. Why not trade him for a high first rounder and a 3rd or something. I gues cap space would be the issue.

Nah dont want to trade Ryan, and besides if we could not get a first rounder for him last year whats changed now (plus a year older)

wouldnt mind seaby as a back-up whilst pike and currie develop. jolly reallly needed some help this year in the ruck and LRT just isnt an AFL standard ruck. for a third rounder

dont think we will go after lovett. wanted him last year but i guess roos didn't like his attitude (or maybe doesn't want to play in sydney)

Plus i dont think recently that we have drafted more than one recycled per year

I really wouldn't like to see O'Keefe go either, was just putting it out there. Can't wait to see Lewis J in action next year. Compares well to Reiwoldt in size and is quicker, and a better kick. Lewis, Jesse and A.G., pretty athletic and big up forward.

The Seaby trade is pretty much done I reckon. Herald Sun reported earlier in the week that Seaby spent 3 days in Sydney meeting coaches and exploring the facilities. No other clubs have really expressed their interest at all but come trade week that may all change. I know last year when Seaby was being considered to be traded by the eagles that there was a fair bit of interest from melbourne based clubs so you might exspect a few of thoses clubs to come into contention again.

A 3rd rounder should seal the deal for Seaby, as much as most of you here don't want Seaby running around in the red and white, I think he will be a great addition to the side and defiantly will help Jolly with the ruck duties.

Lovett IMO is a waste of time, the value the Essendon supporters put over his head is laughable and I'm guessing the bombers will play hard ball in getting the best deal for Lovett.

The only other players I think the club should look at is:

Maguire ( out of favour at the saints, can replace leo, only 26)
Everitt ( young and got the potienal to become a future star)
Charman ( if the seaby trade can't be done then go after him, is a far better ruckman then seaby)

Don't want to lose our first pick UNLESS something really good comes up.

geez I hope your wrong mate, I dont want Seaby and Id even go as far to say Id trade Vez for Lovett.., (IMO only)

Vezpremi is going to be an important player for us in the next 2-3 years. The kid has a basket of talent and wouldn't wanna give that up for someone like Lovett. Don't get me wrong, Lovett at his best is unstoppable and can break any game open but he goes missing far too often when it gets tough and that's not what we want. His attitude is poor and his commitment to the game is not acceptable.

The bombers gave Lovett a chance to prove himself but he clearly hasn't shown it. Yes we are known as a club to turn players around but for a 27 year old with major problems? like I said, waste of time!

ok ive had a few beers so Ill speak my mind and Im sure Ill get shot down for it but so be it, Vez is as soft as butter, sure he has talent to burn but he needs to take a trip down the yellow brick road and ask the wizard of oz for a shot of courage, fairdinkum hes weak as piss, lol now Ive done it I blame it on the alcohol...

So, they're both downhill skiers but Lovett will get to the bottom faster?

I've got you in my sights Bez! :p

Are you basing this on that one incident against the Dogs in 08? Because on every other occasion, Vez has attacked the ball like there's no tomorrow. I've never seen him squib a contest, and I think the Dogs incident is ambiguous at best. To me it looks like he's trying to collect the ball and spin away from an opponent, but simply goes without it. Let's face it, getting the ball and getting crunched is far less effective than getting the ball, getting free and using it. He tried to do a bit too much, but there's a difference between being soft and trying and failing to be creative.

Just a tip!

1.Swans have in excess of $1mill to spend... thats MUST SPEND due to AFLPA collective bargaining rules

2. We have little value to trade unless ROK is still keen to move south.

Therefore

Swans must try to pickup those that are unwanted or out of contract and are in a strong position to out bid any others!( the money is somewhat irrelevant they have tospend it anyway... so FRONT LOAD new contracts!

Get a oversupply stock...to trade to GC for top picks next year!

PS BigBEZ:D

That slurry comment will ....comeback to bite you on the arse!!!!:p

Vesz ....AINT SOFT!.....That one incident against Dogs in his debut yr was SMART football!!!! He tried to blind spin and evade Morris at fullsteam..it didn't quite work but better than being smashed for certain!

lol I was just bored last night and thought Id stir a bit, hes alright however Corpy, a blind turn and an evasive spin is fine, if you got the bloody ball!!
He shat himself and 'jumped'(blind turn evasive spin) out of the way of the doggies player charging out of defence, even Kirk gave him a spray for it as he was being dragged, I know coz I was 50m from it at the time and Im dirty coz we were in with a chance of beating the doggies in that final and ALL our players were throwing themselves at every contest like only the Bloods can, everyone was sensing one of our trademark magical insperational close wins, then that happened late in the game, took the wind out of our sails!
You guys can spin it how you want but it was as soft as butter!

Saying that Im being unfairly critical of him as hes just a kid and he will learn from it (I hope)however, Hanners, Smith etc would have hit the doggies player running out of defence head first, just sayin...

It took 4 years after several top placings in the brownlow for Lyon to teach Dal Santo a bit of toughness.... therefore Vesz is.... WAY AHEAD of the programme!

NO WAY is Vesz tradeable!
