I think it was round 20 last year.. against Hawthorn.. we played like this and dominated.. and the next week we went back to chip chip shit and lost. Sydney have massive talent in the forward line and have the capabilities to easily kick big scores. Its just a complete mystery why we dont play like these all the time. give our forward line a chance, and we kick winning scores!

Hopefully this can do something for his confidence and he can push himself into some form. When he plays well, it seems to reflect on the rest of the team. He doesnt dominate like other forwards and kick half his teams score - but he does have an auro about him and when he plays well, most of the team lifts with him.

Craig and Jude got 23 and 22 possesions respectively, Marty Mattner got 23, O'Keefe with 20, Goodesy ended up with 19 but had a relatively quiet game, and Barry Hall got 17. Hally hasnt had a game like that in a very long time. He got 141 ranking points (106 DT) for the game, which is just superb.

I reckon that's going a bit far. You only had one of the Cornes/Burgoyne quartet firing today, and that's a rarity. I'd expect you to, at the very least, play a couple of finals.

For us though, great game to see. Seeing the likes of Bird, Barlow, Jack and Moore with the confidence to take risks is fantastic. Mattner also played much better this game. Someone needs to work on their kicking and take over the kick-ins, as the loss of Malceski is really becoming a worry there, as a closer game would've made those mistakes very costly.
