Why shocked SM? Money was not the primary motivation in keeping Warner he will get a million a year in Sydney or in Perth.
I'm shocked shocked because a few experts on here told me we needed to ditch Parker to re sign warner.

If he does re sign it may be the case... they might be redoing this years contract for him... maybe enough to secure a house. Hard to borrow on prospected earnings

Chad Warner's future is set to be a major talking point this year and fellow Swans star Errol Gulden won't be putting additional pressure on his teammate

Errol presser:

WARNING: more GF talk off the top

Gulden speaks really well in this interview. This is probably the most honest reflection on the GF from any interview I have seen.

It’s good to see he is burning and has that desperation to get better, including getting bigger and stronger, and having a better influence on those around him.

Also good to see him not pat away the Chad talk with standard media talking points. Open, honest, non-defensive. I like it.

I previously questioned him being in the leadership group too soon. This video makes me think he belongs.

Well maybe if Chad goes we can throw the money at another reasonable player. Or a couple of players.
But if he goes after this year then Parker would have been out of contract anyway! Anyway let's not do this again lol.

Just needs to cut out the constant throwing his hands up in the air and dirty looks when he doesn't get the ball on the outside. The O'Reilly Wing got plenty of viewing of that in 2024.

He seems like a guy who is honest with others (whether they like it or not) and welcomes it back as well (when the journalist tries to delicately ask about the GF performance, he said he didn’t have to sugar coat it, they played one of their worst games of the year).

I think it is a question of how often he throws up his arms, and it sounds like a bit too much. That said, if a teammate burns someone in a better position, I don’t mind them hearing about it.
