Thats fair enough, can't hold that against you. Do you think this will be resolved or will it pose a bit of a headache for the club for the remainder of the season?.

does anyone have the reserve results for the regional league?

In the Regional League, Claremont have a near 5-goal break on Cygnet, Central Hawks lead Kermandie by 10-points, Channel are kicking poorly but hold a 5-goal lead over the 'Bunna, Huonville are 37-points up on Sorell and Dodges Ferry ten goals up on Lindisfarne look to have put paid to the Two Blues' finals chances.

In the Premier League, all matches are pretty much settled.
Hobart Lions well ahead of Kingborough at The Pit, North are 32-points ahead of Glenorchy at a wet North Hobart, Norfik' 63-points ahead down at Lauderdale and Clarence 106-points in front at Pontville.

In the NTFL, Ulverstone thrashing Wynyard, North Launceston likewise over East and Launceston doing the same to Penguin - all three around the 100+ margin.
Latrobe are giving the Burnie Dockers a decent touch-up, leading by 75-points and Devonport hold a slender 8-point lead in a low scoring game at Smithton.

In NTFA Division One, Roorat will be suitably impressed as his Deloraine Kangaroos hold a 103-point lead over a currently goalless Rocherlea at the Racetrack.
George Town hold a handy lead at Hillwood, Longford 7-goals up at Bridgenorth and Bracknell far too good at Scottsdale.
In Division Two, Evandale 70-points ahead of OL's, St Pat's look to be in a solid position against Campbell Town, Fingal Valley hold a 3-goal lead against the Thistles and Perth comfortably over Uni-Mowbray.

This is all to three quarter time.

Bad day for the "Rockapes" with their reserves also getting flogged and only scoring 1.2.8. No under 19's due to Rocherlea getting banned.
BTW thanks for the tipping, please keep it up, we can't handle your "kiss of death":p

Yeah, err, first half you gave away the softest free kicks...about 6 in front of goal. And the second half, well, sensational stuff...NOT!
They only played "honourably" cause they wore the old style map last night, if it was their other guernsey than it would have been a totally different story! Let's see when they play at Box Hill next week if my theory is right....;)
Koula and Thurley best players - They turned it over at least 6-7 times during the night and prob conceded three goals.
Haven't seen a crowd figure from last night in the papers, but IMO, no more than 900 last night, stands were virtually empty.

Edit: Sorry Insider, just noticed you'd posted them up:p

Heh! Wasn't that a complete balls up?

Good to have an occasional day off to do it, I'll be back among the action though next week freezing myself off somewhere around Tassie :D
Also tops to see the ABC truly showing their professional side yesterday...need I say any more

Shows the interest in them when all our Junior footballers received a voucher for the game that entitled them to entry plus 2 adults for $10.00.

Most of the Juniors must have left, probably counted no more than 100 kids there, had a couple of underage certain raisers too, and most of them left when I got there about 1/2 an hour before.

I wonder how many from the SANFL were watching this one as there is "talk" that they will be in by 2009...

Either of the Channel boys able to provide the Reserves and Underage results from yesterday?

Dont have the actual scores but the reserves won a scrappy encounter by about thirty points or so, underage got beaten again by 4 points.

Dean Mills was on the recieving end this time, despite being the instigator of a scuffle managed to be the victim of a striking report for a punch to the mouth. The Channel culprit had a nasty gash on his knuckle and webbing from a Mills tooth:D probably will be nice and puffy today.

what's the story there?

The story is that the Rocherlea Under 19's were involved in a major brawl when they played Deloraine at Rocherlea about 7 weeks ago. Fight was that serious that the game was suspended at 3/4 time, with Deloraine well in front.
With last year's disgrace in the Grand Final against Longford, where I was at the game and watched the disgrace unfold where Longford players (about 7) suffered broken jaws, lost teeth, you name it, the NTFA were left with no other option but to suspend the Rocherlea Underage side for the remainder of 2007, and I think that its to be reviewed for the next 2 years (Roorat may be able to confirm the substance of the above)

Spot on the_insider, they are still listed on the ladder, but a bye for the team due to play them.
Sterling work as per usual with your in-depth tipping and disection of the round from around the state, you should get a job with one of the media outlets;).
Not sure what is going on with the Leven, they were supposedly going to continue but I will interogate my sources and report ASAP.

Just a note that billybrownless16 and myself are doing Tassie proud in the fantasy football league, representing the Central Sharks. At present we are heading for a Grand Final berth. Any one who feels like supporting us can vote on http://www.bigfooty.com/forum/showthread.php?t=345310 against the Wolves.
Yours truly is, due to hard training, hard drinking and commitment, a member of the Big Footy Squad in a comp against other forums. :D

Thanks roorat, I might consider it...might follow along the lines of my very good mate Nathan Bester, who's set up a sports blog on Myspace, he's got SFL and NTFL only at this stage, but is looking to expand to other areas...seeing what sort of interest he get's.

The blog is www.myspace.com/sportstalk07
