I'm still seething and so is Barge, so the answer is no.

Short arm Francis....:D

Spoke to Gracie18, he said they were up by 40 pts at half time and ended up losing by something similar (yes an 80 point turnaround). He ended up with 10 stitches in cut over his eye.

I think it was something like 8 goals to 2 during the 2nd quarter. Then Gracie went down and Wazza did a hammie (had kept Palfreyman to only 1 at that point).

Hutchins ahead by 8 points at 3 quarter time and ended up 18 goals to 10.

Banner was absolutely seething and had us doing extra work out on the ground immediately after the game.

Word from the underground is that this saturdays U/19's clash between Hobart and Brighton will be officiated by Scott Wade, Wayne Povey and Michael Brown to try and reach out to the community on the short numbers of Umpires.

Good luck to em!

You're not an umpire yourself are ye?

Tiger Fan, would have been a great laugh but unfortunatley i was braving the chill of Huonville, reserves game this morning.

Don't tell me you were the younger one with the black hair?

TigerFan - Did you ever recover your wallet or catch the culprit?

Howdy Wilbur35, have you go over those terrible umpires from last week yet?, i bet short arm francis's brother in law would of been upset too (go dees). Any O.H.A scores today mate? :thumbsu:

Hmmm, let's see - (a) Melbourne supporter (b) Know's the one armed bandit and (c) knows me.

I wonder who this could be?

Surely not the less talented and less loved of Ross' twins?

I was at Bellerive yesterday and watched the u/19s before i had to go to work.
couple of questions?
Is Kempoz Kings number 27 for the Clarence 19s?
also noticed two familiar names runinig around for them, in Reiwoldt and Iles? Anyone know about those two, would have to be brothers of Jack and Sam? both pretty tall kids, and what i saw of them yesterday werent too bad either.

Kempos, Benny?

U r wrong, short arm in law..... i dont have a twin, you will have to think again.......I do remember you from that huge blue footy jumper from across the bridge that you used to don and try to pose as a footballer :D

whats the deal with Gilmour playn for Brighton and them going to fly over and play Devils.. surely not.

also Sorells Tim Polly has asked for a clearance to join Richmond mid season, would be very handy addition to the Richmond side.

Harry Reiwoldt, Grade 11, so would be 16/17. Nice kick on him, big lad, reasonably tall, pretty solid, fairly good hands, no where near as good as Jack though.

If the Devils wernt in trouble before, they are now!!!!

Lemme guess Cookie you umpired a double header at the bike track?

Not black hair, i would classify it as brown.

Darkish hair then.

You need to exercise more so you can run to get into good positions rather than wheeze and huff your way around missing all the action thus leaving yourself open to flak from players and supporters.

Good on you for having a crack when most of us wouldn't. :thumbsu:

Haha i do exercise, and can run long distance, it's just I can't sprint.. It's my first year and i'm working on it..as for the flak.. who really cares.

Reports coming my way is that Cameron Bruce and Brad Green were at the Cadbury sport grounds yesterday watching DOSA v University reserves.
Brad Green is apparently good friends with Troy Stewart from Uni.

10,000 toast brewery open day
THE chance to learn the secrets of Australia's oldest brewery attracted up to 10,000 beer lovers -- and the next generation of connoisseurs -- to Hobart's Cascade Brewery yesterday.
http://www.news.com.au/mercury/story/0,22884,21922116-921,00.html
So that's where everyone was yesterday, thought it was unusual to be so quiet on here!
"Sometimes when I reflect back on all the beer I drink I feel ashamed - Then I look into the glass and think about the workers in the brewery and all of their hopes and dreams. If I didn't drink this beer, they might be out of work and their dreams would be shattered. Then I say to myself, 'It is better that I drink this beer and let their dreams come true than be selfish and worry about my liver.'"Deep Thought, Jack Handy
