Playing- Walker's a much better footballer (in b4 outrage); huge mark, kicks them from anywhere, big game performer and backs it up consistently. JB still a great player at his best, but it happened all too infrequently- chronically overrated because he's a good bloke
Mentally- no comparison. JB's got a sharp tongue on him and seems pretty cluey; Tex would struggle to outwit a doorknob.
If you had watched Tex on the footy show or during pressers you'd realise that he is quite witty.
I don't know where he has developed this "stupid" tag. Show me undeniable proof he is as stupid as you suggest.

Hawks need a new gun forward since Buddy left...Hawkins is going to Hawthorn...already has Hawk in his name...Are the Cats going to send the captain and the coach over to Adelaide to talk to Danger or will they just go and have a chat to his parents at Moggs Creek.

Sorry but his appearances on the show are cringeworthy.. it's just Sam et al pulling the piss on him while he gets more and more worked up. JB's actually pretty witty and well spoken, all his conversations are on his terms.
I was unaware that I was saying anything particularly controversial to be honest; clearly it doesn't inhibit his football ability.

All I see on his twitter page is support for the country bush fires, cancer council, etc.
Tex has really matured since his injury and it's a fair testament to his character with what he has had to overcome to get to where he is. I think the man deserves a little more respect.
Plenty of dopey people have been outstanding sportsmen so don't worry about it, he just has to lead by example on field and leave anything tactical to others in the leadership group.
The drinking at the footy while injured with his Mensa mates wasnt exactly a sign of intelligence either.
Let's flip this, how about you show us some indications of his intelligence? Burden of proof on something that you're suggesting exists. Any signs of it?
