If you believe Tom Morris, if we don't get Clarkson, Teague stays on as coach.

Most of us fanbois have been resigned to Teague losing his job, seems more and more likely Clarkson will take over, just thought it was interesting that Morris said that if Clarkson declines, Teague will remain as coach but yeah that does appear pretty far fetched to see DT staying on as coach

Yeah i know and accepted it. Just thought what Tom Morris reported tonight was interesting.
It does seem very probable now Clarkson is our guy, but then I said the same about Ross Lyon, so I don't want to make any more definitive statements.

Not everyone gets one, Matthew knights didn’t, Brittain didn’t, pagan didn’t, malthouse didn’t, McCartney didn’t, Shaw didn’t at north and there would be countless more.
As time goes on a departure is less and less likely I would have thought.

Surely the main point to come out of the review would have been, Is Teague a good coach, or capable of becoming a good coach in the immediate future?
If the answer was no, then I’m not sure why he is still here.
If the answer was yes, then I’m surprised the club hasn’t come out and supported him.
Id be shocked if the clubs position was to retain Teague of Clarko says no, I’d be also really concerned for the clubs prospects next season, both on and off the field.

A professional review isn’t going to say “sack” or “someone is no good”
It will find weaknesses in the structure, strengths in the structure, then weaknesses and strengths & weaknesses in the individual.
The board then has to excess that, can we cover the weaknesses or do the weaknesses make the individual position untenable. That’s the point of a review to identify the entire corporations or in this case footy departments problems & areas needing improvement. So it might identify tactics, player communication, professionalism, training etc etc etc
