Same...

...and it gets worse every week.

marchbank
nankervis
steele

ive never even seen these guys play. im just trusting the hivemind.

A name like Jack Steele suggests he should be starring in Back door sluts 9 instead of playing football.

First time user, and not the best selector, so any comments / advice is much appreciated. I have 80k left

That's a pretty decent side. Myers has been injured; although you might want to start him anyway, and I'm not familiar with Patfull, but overall, I can't see much wrong with it.

Haven't seen many teams with Heppell or S.Selwood? Selwood is so cheap, Heppell also massively underpriced

I just think they're neither here nor there picks. Heppell might, but probably won't, reach the level of a Hannebery/Joelwood type; and S. Selwood is 95-105 player in all probability.

Any websites or programs other than tooserious.net to look at bye rounds. Says my login didn't work for tooserious.

Anyway. need something else that i can put my team into and see what needs adjusting.

Really. I'd say S.Selwoods more a 85-95 player. Doesn't have the greatest track record other than 2 years of 100+ in 2012 & '13

Well i think i've changed my team a dozen times so far and probably will again in the next week.

Was thinking i'd like to get gawn or goldy but i don't really have any players i would want to drop.

Feels like im Power heavy in the rookies but i guess you gotta follow the cash flow.

I was going for more of an absolute best case scenario; I think this proves my point even further.

I'm a staunch believer in guns and rookies and I always have been. I have always gone with it and i've done well with it across all formats of the game. This year though I believe will be different. There are just so many mid price options, and they aren't guys who have had 1 or 2 big JLT games and everyone jumps on (with the exception of one or two), they are genuine options who have scored well previously but valued below their worth, or moved to a new club, or are returning from injury or suspension, or are genuine stars primed for a breakout etc etc.

If we count mid pricers as being between 250-500k I currently have 5 in my side. I don't think this is too much and I think it is just the right amount. Everyone is either jumping on the mid pricers or are holding back because we've all been burned in the past. Makes sense, but these are completely players to ones from the past. Guys like O'Meara, Roughead, Steele, Beams, Swallow etc. actually have some good numbers behind them with some evidence that points towards them being value. Unlike Lonergan, Sheridan, Lumumba etc they haven't just had a few good pre season matches, and they aren't complete trash players either.

Agree with you. There is no right or wrong answer. A lot ppl will have teams that are unrecognisable and unique which is good to see. Makes the game more fun

Decided to downgrade Gawn to Grundy. By doing that I was able to upgrade:

- A rookie to Marchbank
- Rance to Shaw
- Bontempelli to Pendles

Feel more comfortable in my side around the field and able to select the premiums I wanted (exception of Gawn of course). Hopefully Sandi puts up good scores and I can upgrade him to Gawn later in the season. Of course this all changes once again if Grundy's calf is still causing issues.

I have $26.4k left over.
