No signs of Rocca for the pies, therefore Lake straight to Anthony and therefore there will be no signs of Jack Anthony.:p

Hopefully Griffen is fit and firing next week. This is now the 3rd game he's missed which is far from the ideal lead in for him.
It does mean that we're bringing back people a bit at a time. First Murphy and Welsh, then Gia and Higgins, now Cross and next week Griffen, which I feel is a good way to bring people back if you have the choice as it doesn't bring down the overall fitness of the team as much in a given game.

The Bulldogs ins and outs from our team that lost by a point to Collingwood in R15:

IN: Giansiracusa, Reid
OUT: Griffen, Williams

Gia for Griff is about an even exchange, assuming Gia is improved from last week's hitout. They do play a different style of game though. Gia may be more useful in hitting targets if it's a high pressure game. Griff probably gets more possessions and is better at breaking the lines.

Reid for Williams is an interesting one because it forces a change in structure. IMO it's not such a bad thing, especially against Collingwood which doesn't have too many talls. Better still if Reid continues to improve. You may remember the Collingwood match was Williams' first game back after a lengthy absence and he was pretty rusty that day (and was caned during the following week by BF posters!)

I also hope that Cross can step up to his usual level straight away. He may be a bit underdone, but he always prepares well.

Williams leaves a massive hole. And without Tiller to fill it we are a bit vulnerable. Both aren't the best players right now, but they are easily serviceable and they give us defensive options to free up Lake and Hargrave to attack. How is Cam Wight going at Willy :D?

Glad to have Cross in. I'd give Reid one more game too. Addison is the safer option but I think if the effort is there we can roll the dice in blooding anohter young fella with the rest of the team picking up the slack.

Late change, Everitt in and one of either Murphy or Hudson out

Any other news?
I haven't been able to find any mention of this over the net, was this a radio broadcast or are you on the inside.

It's a big out for this game, could it be Hudson because the Pies ruck's are more mobile?

Are we ruling out a Hudson rest? I guess big Will wouldn't mind a rest after playing the only ruckman in a high intensity game if that was the case, haha....so I guess not. Scary news:(
