Warwick Capper created a few enemies over his time at the bears, however I think some of that had to do with his enormous unearned pay-cheques.

Considering Christopher Skase was on board with the Bears at the time, is it fair to suspect there was all sorts of dodginess going on up there?

On another note I've heard that none of the players from Essendon's 1897 premiership team are on speaking terms these days...

Can we also do the 'real' reasons why VFL / AFL coaches have been sacked, or had to resign and why coaches have had to retire 'prematurely'.

As well as Assistant / coaches at individual clubs who also disliked each other.
Leigh Matthews and Matthew Armstrong at the Brisbane Lions.
The word around town was the Matthews had a rather strong dislike of Armstrong and didn't want him in the box with him.

PS: Mods - where did my post from overnight go?
Has AFL Tas been up to their old tricks again on here trying to get posts pulled again? Not the first time it's happened either.

Maybe somebody should have buried the hatchet.

Apparently none of them were willing to attend last year's 110-year anniversary reunion. Sad really.
Not exactly true. I understand the spirit was willing but the flesh unable.

Sheedy belted Billy Barrot in the rooms after training one night after Barrot signed an autograph to a young fan Get F****d from Billy Barrot. Sheedy confirms this in his biography.

Its a pity Sheedy didn't find out about the time Tony Lockett gave the same treatment to a couple of young fans. Now that would be something I'd pay to see.

Eagles have been good at kicking players to the curbs who they simply dont like. Three recent examples of this are Andrew McDougall, Mitch Morton and LLane Spaanderman. Especially Mitch Morton. Everyone got sick of his attitude from day one

Aker and Steven Lawrence - I'm not quite sure as to why, and Akers book didnt go into specifics, but there was clearly a level of dislike from Aker towards him.

Steven Lawerence is an absolute prick, gets everyone into trouble. Aker was spot on with his description of that person.
