Exactly!!!! If ever there was a game when we need another tall back option, it's against Brown (and possibly Bradshaw!). For this very reason, can't beleive they dropped him! Could be a disaster

They have cleared the water but even if they hadn't, there is no way known that they would only play 1 due to that reason.

I would think that if Bradshaw plays then Carlos will most definately be recalled...the blues powers at be must have some pretty good info that he wont play otherwise the big irishmen is a monty to play. All we need now is black to be out to.

Voss wont play them injured unless they are damn close to being right.

Who ever is out there for Brisbane has to be shown respect, so whats the big deal. They play or they don't, that's the lions problem not ours.(bad luck btw)

Really having alot of trouble working out why Setanta hs been dropped. Surely we need him to give ourselves some flexibility down back?

There will be changes to the Brisbane lineup, as Voss ruled all the well noted 4 injured players out earlier in the week, I reckon 2 possibly 3 won't play. Voss is playing "cat & mouse" with Ratten.

Have the MC got it right, maybe, but I would have preferred another ruckman (Jacobs or Warnock). (1) We must win the midfield battle. Winning stoppages and centre clearances is vital, and..
(2) Create an option of Kreuzer going forward if Fev is double teamed, and Cloke has a bad night.

Also a bit worried about our defence. Woeful last week. Can they lift this week? Carlos should have been left in the side. If Brown and/or Bradshaw get on top, he would have been handy option to go down back and attempt to contain one of them.

If we play with fierce intensity, hard tackling, and sufficient defensive pressure when we haven't got the ball, we should come away with a good win. Here's hoping?

mmm if Bradshaw and/or Brown get on a roll we are ****ed. After Thornton and Bower there is just nothing? No Austin, no Waite, no Jamison, no Setanta, no Hartlett, no Edwards even! I just simply can't see anyone else doing a job on either of them unless we play Thornton as the thrid tall defender and hope that maybe a Wiggins can do this role. Kind of like what Collingwood do a) Finals isn't the time to experiment and b) Ratts just doesn't let Thornton play his best spot.

We are going to have to blow them out of the water rather then play the ultra defensive game by the looks of it.

Talk about an ominous sign. Just received from a mate the official Brisbane email news for supporters which includes the team sheet, as they line up.

And they have put Stiller in at both full forward and rover and accidently left out Bradshaw...woops

Not happy with Setanta being dropped. I thought he has been very good for us at CHF, and gives us some options down back if Brown gets off the leash. Can't be injured as he is travelling with the group as an emergency.

Cloke had been playing well before his suspension, but he'd want to do a fiar bit to cover Setanta.

Strange call from the MC. Maybe the feel the three that were suspended will be out to stamp their name on a senior spot. Big call IMO.

I'm sure he won't be losing sleep over it given that he called Voss out for the amateur "sheeds" that he was on Monday.

Firstly, it's not like we can really change the team. Browne and Setanta will travel up there, but they wouldn't come in or out based on opposition matchups.

Secondly, they all played in round 2 down here. Didn't help you then.
