Okay they are young blokes, they will do stupid things and they can be forgiven for that.
But for those who have seen the NDS photo, you have to wonder why 'Sam Gilbert' was taking a photo of him pleasuring himself??

The 17-year-old said she had not received legal notification preventing her from posting the pictures.
‘‘I’ll continue to post the photographs at 5pm today on Facebook or Twitter,’’ she said.

fresh pictures emerge? i believe she has no intent on following the court injunctions. (even know i cant find anything stating she has been put under court restraint other then media sensationalism).
there are to my knowledge that ive read from various sources that of the 18 remaining (of the 21) there are 7 more clubs that will be affected. Including Collingwood.
Whilst it cant be disputed that she is attention seeking, the question is even if she did steal the photos from Gilberts computer, what was she doing on his computer, and furthermore why was she allowed access. she is underage.

This is the thing that makes Reiwoldt's explanation pretty fragile sounding. If more photo's come out of other players from other clubs, then the Miami defence just explodes into a million pieces.
Why would Gilbert have a score of compromising pictures of other players on his PC?
I'm thinking of changing my auto-signature: Nick Dal Santo - Mr December - but am uncertain. Straw poll please.

I assumed you've implied he was playing international rules at the time Saints were on the end of the season trip, which would make a liar out of Riewoldt.
The thing is why would Volt announce Gilbert's name at a media conference just as a cover up? It might not have been pictures in Miami, who knows, but Gilbert certainly has done something wrong by the club. I think that's the biggest thing to come out of this too, that players from the same club are not happy with each other.
Also it sounds like Volt was referring to the 2009/10 off season, not a few months ago.
There is always one guy who gets hung out to dry in front of the public but behind closed doors they know that it is a coverup. Simple.
If it was my best friend, I too would take a hit to ensure that the person, in this case the girl, looks like an idiot and an attention seeking wh@re.
As someone already has pointed out, why is Gilbert taking those photos and then showing them to his 'girlfriend'? And if that really happened, then they all deserve what they get the muppets!

the miami trip was last year...international rules was this year...so he could have been on both...i don't know where sam gilbert was last year...but he was in ireland this year...i assume his ability to take photos did not recede in this time...
EDIT: i think i see what you mean now...you thought i was implying Riewoldt was lying cos Gilbert was on the Ireland trip, i was more getting at that there were players from other teams on tour, as in, that's where the photos of players from 7 other clubs could have come from and hence collingwood players...it was meant to be in jest though

Let's face it, no matter what has happened here, it has been "good for Collingwood". (As long as none of our players become involved).
One of our major contenders for the 2011 premiership, instead of "breaking up" for xmas and New Years in a harmonious and joyous manner, are now "in fighting" and are having to concentrate on matters other then football preparation and family, at a time when that's all they should be concentrating on.
Tomorrow night our boys are all getting together to celebrate what we achieved in 2010 (apparently the first "real chance" they have had to), and that will act as a launching pad into the "break" and then into the resumption of training in 2011 (Jan 10th).
To win a flag, as we proved last year, just about everything needs to go right, both in the pre season and in the actual "playing season" itself, and at the moment the team the bookies have as our greatest challenger is in crisis mode, while the "bond" between our playing list and all the staff at the club seems to be at it's strongest point, and that's the enjoyment I have got out of this "mess" more then anything.

Sam Gilbert having a cache of naked pics of players on his own team seems a tad out of the ordinary, let alone a host of players from other clubs.
From what I've read and heard, this girl has no other pics anyway. She is bluffing and has already posted a half dozen poor excuses for why she has not posted anything else.
Which is a good thing.
The Reiwoldt pic is definitely of a bloke who sleeps naked, like me, who has just been woken. I have not seen the others but if these are the "most damning" then she's got nothin'.

Yeah, thats exactly what i was thinking, got you now.
Lets not sink the boot in guys as I'm pretty sure the girl has claimed to have other such photos of players from Richmond, Sydney and Collingwood. Our club could soon be dragged into this rubbish and lets face it we don't have a team full of clean skins.
