agreed.Great player, fantastic and very sad to see him go. Thomas can eat one but Heath can never be considered anything less than a Collingwood champion, it's etched in history after all, which is no small beer.
He'll set himself up for life and I hope he returns after his playing career with no hard feelings. I think he'll always be a Collingwood man.
Surprised to see the universal love for Heath. He was a player Collingwood invested in heavily with all the off field issues (betting saga, drink drive offences etc) and then decides to leave. Didnt even show up to the Copeland, when at that time he was still a contracted Collingwood footballer.
Hell, we are even paying some of his contract to play against us this year. Just shows how much he burnt the Collingwood bridge for a few extra bucks.
Gave us a great GF moment, and seven-eight years of great service but he is no better than Dale Thomas in my mind.
Ray, Tony, Neville, Rhyce, Brayden, Heath..............
and then there were none

The best part is he's gone to a team that wont do us any damage. Well done Heater!
He didn't decide to leave he was given the arse by Buckley.Surprised to see the universal love for Heath. I doubt it. We sacked him, his brother and his uncle and we reputedly reneged on a coaching offer back in the day for his father when he was coaching Preston. I am not sure about his other uncle (Neville) who went to SA with John Cahil. He may be the only Shaw not dirty on Collingwood but I wouldn't bet on it.Sad to see him go, but he'll be back at the Club when he retires, that's for sure.
