Jeffs thinking 3 and 4 moves ahead. Always for the good of everyone to the detriment of the indivudual or even our club.
When he ran the state he took us from a broke basket case to the best state in the country. His first thoughts were what is good for the state, same thing he is doing now. Its all for the greater good.
Ian Dicker saved us but Keff and Bung along with Clarko took us to where we are now.
He aint perfect good old Jeff, but please dont embarass yourself by shooting him down like some irrelavent old has been.

When you have accomplished anything of note for anyone other than yourself then maybe i'll listen to you.

Not true at all. You may not like his outspoken ways, but Jeff is as Hawthorn as any of us. Everything he did and said (as cringeworthy as it was sometimes) was always intended to the betterment of the club!

Jeff served his purpose and contributed to our club….but it is now time he does shut up as he is now old and no longer relevant….Clarkson coaching another sporting code is an even more ridiculous Jeff suggestion than dropping him to Box Hill or retiring him after 7 years…and Hawthorn is already one of the biggest sporting clubs in Australia (and within 5 years we will be the biggest) so there's no need for Clarkson to look anywhere else, he is in the middle of completing a job and legacy at Hawthorn…it is only half complete and there are significant moments on the horizon to aim for and reach

If any non-AFL sports come looking they should look no further than Lyon, the guy is a gun. Or surely Longmore, coach of the year last year.

In fact Clarko has never been awarded coach of the year. Plenty of his contemparies have a much superior record.
