Going on about history again? Just because you won it about 6 years ago doesn't change the fact that you're a far less attractive proposition than a team like Inter, ManCity, Barca and Arsenal today.

Some may need to sell to buy him such as arsenal, he still needs his club to accept the offers, just because he prefers one club doesn't mean he can go there if the offer is less and I am yet to read anywhere saying he wouldn't want to play for us.

Barca have clearly settled on either Sanchez or Rossi, Man City have only bid on Sanchez and Arsenal want Gervinho instead. Inter on the other hand have showed interest in NO ONE yet and are scrambling to keep what they have in Sneijder and Eto atm

Chelsea MAY be interested but they havnt bid on anyone but Modric yet. These are just cold hard facts btw. No paper talk. All direct comments from each club about said players.

There is no direct proof any club is interested in Mata (Liverpool included). It's fairly obvious though, should he decide to move. If Sanchez is attracting as much interest as he is, you'd think all the clubs that miss out on him (+ more) would turn their interest to someone like Mata.
