Not bad for a club with no money.

Now we'll hear the classic we didn't want him anyway.

Actually, thats what all the Man United sooks have been saying about Henderson.

For what it is worth, Phil Jones looks like he will become a great defender, certainly has more potential then Smalling who I don't think will ever be a top class defender. Excellent signing for United.

However, on the other hand moomba, if anyone were to go, It most likely would be Wes, IMO.

Brown definately on the way out. Wouldn't be surprised to see him at Man United B team over Stanley Park way.

Sunderland have taken Liverpool to the cleaners with that deal for Henderson. Be interesting to see how N'Gog goes at Sunderland as well.

A future backline of -

Rafael - Smalling - Jones - Fabio

Has potential thats for sure.

Vidic has at least 4 or 5 years left in him I would imagine. The only issue I could see with that back 4 is a lack of physical strength. Smalling doesn't look that strong and both of the Brazillians aren't exactly going to get stuck in and dirty. Then again you need not worry until Vidic needs to move on, which will not be for some time yet. Rio is just about at the end of his career though.

Not too bothered on missing out on Jones. We already have a better young English defender in Martin Kelly anyways.

Henderson is a strange one. I thought we would bring in a central midfielder, but he is certainly one from left field. Ive actually never really noticed him. Only Sunderland games I really watch are when they play Liverpool and he has never stuck out from the crowd. But I do trust Kenny.

This will end badly.

"Leeds midfielder Neil Kilkenny, 25, will choose between five clubs when he returns from international action with Australia. He is out of contract and is wanted by Ipswich, Nottingham Forest, Burnley, Hull and Bristol City." BBC website.

He really isn't that good... (which is probably why no Premiership teams seem interested in him)

Norwich are chasing Snodgrass and Johnson from Leeds.

Sami Nasri firming to leave Arsenal reports say. Man united the likely targets. Man U also have Schneider in their sights. Think we could see a domino effect if 1 of Arshavin-Fabregas-Nasri leave in my opinion.

No way they let him go to United unless they offer big money. It would probably take overpaying by a fair margin for the Mancs to pluck him... see the Torres/Carrol situations.

Agree on the domino effect though, worrying times at Arsenal. A few more decent additions and they were a legit threat at the title, now if they all get worked up wanting to leave it could be devastating.

Why do people say 'no way they will let him go to United'?

Nasri pretty much controls the situation from hereon in. If he doesn't want to re-sign then they need to sell him, and if he wants to go to ManU, then they'll need to comply because next year he can go for free if he wants.

Betting Odds on Cesc Fabregas Club 2011/2012:

Barcelona 1.80
Arsenal 2.20
Real Madrid 4.00
Man City 9.00
Inter Milan 15.00
Chelsea 17.00
Man Utd 41.00

Barcelona looks a done deal to me. Make no mistakes Fabregas is thirsty for trophies. He was almost gone last year for this very reason. I think it could be a similar situation to the Fernando Torres Chelsea Liverpool situation. Where both parties where happy (Chelsea got their player, Liverpool got the money which they spent to buy Carrol and Luis Suarez)

Personally think, Arsene Wenger's spending budget is very limited an extra 50 million pounds to buy some extra players could be the go here.
