Are you talking about the two games he played on managed minutes due to injury this year or the all Australian year he had last year a bottom ager?

I don't see to many questioning Allans footballing credentials/production, ( call it whatever you like ), rather I have read several commenting on the similarities to Ginbey and even Allan himself in the AFL interview sees himself as a HBF, very good one mind you.

I don't speak for others but I have said and posted several times that I can see him down the track becoming a very handy wingman and "Yes", I consider wingmen midfielders.

I think we can all agree that real genuine inside midfield clearance players, are a critical Club need, so excuse those of us who lament not being able to get one with our first pick this year.

Let be real. FOS wouldn't have lasted pick 3. There's no conversation to be had there.

The melting for me is missing out Sid Draper. Back to back All Australian and Sanfl proven player.

I'd argue we would be in a much better place with Sid Draper 3 and Xavier Lindsay 14

Not fussed on FOS specifically, more so the principle .... use Draper, Smith, Reid or even Smillie ... you pick ... the point still stands .

We miss out on a player ,who has shown that they excel at inside clearance work.

1. The surgery he had wasnt on his hip. It was on his pelvis. The actual hip joint don't get touched in the realignment procedure he had done.

Also, Water polo doesn't ruin your hips. That's just not the case.

My friend was a Olympic water polo player. She had both hips reconed by the time she was 30 . She will need both hips replaced by the time she is 45 .

In an ideal world, Baker and Graham provide that "on field coach" role and help direct the players' running patterns and implement Mini's game plan.

There was a lot of references to Pendlebury's ability to perform this role during the Magpies successful 2022 campaign.

Baker was touted as Richmond's next captain and Graham was an U18 captain and displays leadership qualities so I am somewhat hopeful there will be a net positive outcome.

I'm not sure how many points we need next year to match f/s and academy picks though, plus ideally we drive a hard bargain on Warner and try get away with paying only a first and a second or 2 seconds or else we are not going to have much of a draft next year. Happy to keep whatever we need for Banfield next year and let Wally go through to the keeper if it means taking a kid/s in that 30-40s range this year instead.

I think Walley will be rated a lot higher next year than Champion was this year.

Can’t fault the club for wanting to initiate change.

Doing the same thing with the same people in charge is not going get different results.

We all assume Clarke got bent over at every opportunity, but we really know f all what was negotiated between camps.
