Who are these people, who are "sick of" this?

I'm sorry - what? What "insecurity" is this?

You don't have to be a keen follower of women's sport, or a passionate advocate for women's rights, to see when something is unfair / unsafe / irrational / wrong.

I don't. For many sporting bodies, large or small, the default position has been "inclusion" until they come under the pressure of evidence and informed opinion. Here's one - recent - a school in North Carolina:

Small number? Here's a partial list:

Where's your threshhold? What "number of people <women, girls>" is the point at which you think it matters? For that matter, how many sexual assaults in hospitals or prisons do you think is acceptable?

I see that you don't care about this issue, that's fine, I guess. But since you don't care, and apparently have not read / seen a lot of information about it, perhaps just refrain from commenting, instead of dismissing people who do care, who have read up on it, as insecure (?WTF again?) men who don't care about women's sport or women's rights. Or maybe state and justify the opposing opinion instead of "meh, it doesn't matter".
See, I didn't say it didn't matter.

More that people like you won't make it better or even help at all.

Well, I thought "it only affects a small number of people" sounded a bit that way. Clarify, if you like.

Who are "people like me" and what is involved in "making it better"?
You also suggest you speak for women despite noting you don't need to care about women's sports or women's rights.

Yours is an issue with trans people, so perhaps stop hiding behind concern for women and just be honest. You have an issue with trans gender people.

Again that's fine, but let's stop pretending it's anything else.

also suggest you speak for women
I "suggested" nothing of the sort. I speak in support of women (and men) who care about this issue. I might also speak in support of any other group e.g. indigenous Australians, without claiming to speak "for them".
despite noting you don't need to care about women's sports or women's rights.
I said you don't have to be a "keen follower" or a "passionate advocate". It would be nonsensical to say that someone could "not care" while actually expressing care.

Asserted without evidence.

Me: I don't think transwomen should be allowed to compete in the female category.

You: Well clearly you have an issue with trans people, so I can dismiss your opinion without having to mount any sort of reasoned counter-argument.

Convenient. There's no possible legitimate argument because it always comes from transphobia.

Perhaps you could ask Caitlyn Jenner, who also believes that transwomen should not compete in the female category. You reckon Caitlyn has "an issue with transgender people"?

Asserted without evidence. A convenient deflection. Or perhaps a strawman.

Yawn. You white knight's are painful. Women can't solve issues, need a man to point them out and fix them!!!

It's an important issue to women - and to men who support women's rights. And in the broader sense, to parents.
Yes you did, you see that right? I mean unless you are all women, and men and parents of course. We could be a hive mind I guess ?

You aren't expressing any care for women's sport or women's right, you a re merely using it as a vehicle to drive your 'concern' about transgender people

Stating your opinion on a topic on behalf of others, hmmmm...

Like providing some jail assault? Or a spiking injury?

Or perhaps ask women? And women's sporting bodies or medical experts or heck, experts on the topic.

Like you, Caitlyn Jenner isn't an expert on anything, the only difference between Caitlyn and you is the surgery.

You can be concerned about transgered people with pretending to be concerned about women's sport. I realise you are worried about the labels, but deal with it, comes with the territory.
