Hindsight? These posters wailed and gnashed their teeth for two whole years at people who warned these terrible outcomes were inevitable.

This is one of those arguments climate change deniers loved.

Like with most topics it comes down people misunderstanding scientific terms.

Consensus in science just means the majority of, it gives them a framework to move forward.

There are always people who will cling (sometimes correctly) to another theory and try to prove that theory correctly or even refine the consensus. and others will try to argue their point with the whole flawed 'no consensus' argument

It's not really related to fast tracked vaccines, just adverse reactions which can happen.

The vaccines are safe and effective and as you said, benefit outweighed the risk.
