Sorry, right you are. Covid has kicked my ass this week.

Wasn’t always was it?

No it has been 4 matches for what feels like the last 15-20 years. I’ve been saying for ages that it warrants 5, these two teams deserve that standing. And now thankfully it’s in place.

Ps, hope you’re feeling better :)

Thanks mate. Haven’t got to see as much of the test as I’d like, the boys have been going stir crazy haha.

But we’re all on the mend and that’s the main thing!

Hope you’re having a great time with your fam.

So they have 4. That Sydney shithole will probably rain for 3 days as per usual.
Early forecast is not good. Fine day 1, but will struggle to get much in afterwards.

Winning tomorrow is now imperative.

That test needs to be moved. We haven’t had rain all month but that one week every year it always rains.

I reckon our schedule is pretty spot on.

2 out of 4 year rotations are Eng or Ind in 5 test series.
The other two years are NZ, Pak, SL, WI and RSA in 2-4 test series with 2 opponents per summer. Rotationally.

ussie looked very old on his dismissal. ball did nothing and he got beaten by it. some poor shots and some good bowling from bumrah. suspect those who got out to siraj will be a bit embarrassed
Can't say I agree. Re-watched a few times and the timing looked okay, wasn't late on it.
Just had no foot movement and played the wrong line. Poor technique rather than father time imo.

I love seeing the other nations come out too tbh. I wouldn't mind having Afghanistan or Ireland come out for one test for an Ashes summer too fwiw

Today has showed Labuschagne worth. Two half centuries this test and his innings yesterday was crucial to ensuring Aus weren't favourites to lose. With the late order runs we now have India dropping anchor trying to hold on for a draw.

Wilson makes Steve Bucknor look like he had proper vision.
Prepare for the Board for Corruption of Cricket in India to kick up an almighty stink after that, lose or draw

7 wickets in 20 overs after being 2 down at the tea break, that’s an almighty collapse from India. Wow. That Pant shot out of nowhere seems to have been the catalyst.

The Pant shot was a poor one in the circumstances and let us back in the game, but the Kohli one was just as wild. A flashy drive the last over before lunch was crazy.

Catching was probably the difference. Aussies clung on to just about everything when India put down some simple ones. Jaiswal the main culprit for that but man does he look like he’ll be a real problem for the next 10 years with the bat.

Catches win matches as the saying goes, that’s essentially the difference. Particularly with being behind in the match after the opening day, India needed to be almost perfect to pull it back from there.
