Was the soft call out? If so I don't think it was at all conclusive
No soft calls anymore
Yep the more they showed that still the more doubt there was about it. It looked grounded to me in that split second. Could hear him asking for any additional footage or angles to demonstrate otherwise.
Exactly

No issue with the call on the catch. I thought probably out but not 100% and not out a completely reasonable decision. Joel Wilson being involved in umpiring international cricket at this point is insane though. It’s not just a joke that he gets so many decisions wrong, the numbers back it up.

Webster is a big unit.
Common theme among Aus allrounders in recent years.

Watson
Symonds
Marsh
Green
Webster
Neser

Hardie
Sutherland
Turner

Off the top of my head. Lots of big strapping lads.

Matt Short ironically is pretty tall. Wildermuth, Chris Green

Would Webster be the tallest amongst those named? He seems distinctly taller than the others.

Surprised Wilson gave that out against Washington really. It didn’t seem conclusive enough to overturn on the snicko replays.

Yep.

And disagree haha. Clearly out IMO

Likely only 76 overs today without the traditional Sydney rain

****ing abysmal.

Even after considering injury breaks and innings change. But Aus will escape any punishment as we bowled them out within 80 overs.

Didn’t mind Konstas getting stuck in to Bumrah again. It had worked well enough until that final ball. From the first ball charge he had thrown him off his usual line and length. I thought he could have us 2 down or worse by the end but he didn’t threaten the stumps like he usually does. He will be lethal on this wicket tomorrow though.

I thought Australia should have been ok being one down given the circumstances. The bowlers have done the heavy lifting in this team for a while but the batters get their chance tomorrow. Make 350+ and the series is won.

Think the one thing that saves him is we still haven’t found Warners replacement yet. Wouldn’t be surprised if he is given the Sri Lanka series.
If Zak Crawley can make a career averaging 25 then Ussie can stay in til he's 50.

I think he doesn't play in SL. Then Green comes in for the WTC final
