Dixon may be old. Dixon may be washed. Dixon may have concrete hands. Dixon may be blind at night

And yet Dixon is still so important to our forward line and game plan

Charlie Dixon sick during the week, and may not play. So we bring in the kid who has been leading the ruck in the SANFL all year and tell him, you need to be a forward now.

FFS Lord would've been a better option. Assuming that Todd isn't actually available fr selection.

Frustrating. Thought we did a lot right but lost it in our forward 50. Firstly at least four errant short passes going into 50 (Wines x 2, Burton, JHF). Secondly, no aerial contest (Visentini and Ratugolea abysmal there) and really poor defending of rebound 50 (Mead, DBJ, Visentini, Rioli, Ratugolea like treacle). McEntee st least chased as did JHF.

Nothing from Rozee. The missed tackle on Draper embarrassing. Little from Butters who is getting out worked and outplayed by Young who is BOG by the length of Flemington straight. Poor from Sweet in ruck and around the ground.

Good from Faz, BZT, Boak, Wines, Drew, JHF, even Burton.

I understand that Freo flood, but when we are kicking into an open 50 and it's 3 Freo players to 1 Port I seriously wonder what we are doing.

We must have two free players domewhere
