Who's "they"? I've read the articles on it, and it's been in a number of media outlets?

10 will run with it (Gayle), because it will sell, in the short term. It has become a shambles, but it's largely Gayle's own fault in that regard. Everyone will move on very soon from the whole stupid saga, but a cursory read of this thread does say quite a bit about the attitudes of some "men" around here, and others poor grasp of OH&S and workplace regulations.

What we've ended up with are half-wits talking about the oppression of men and other such nonsense.

This thread is so terrible I wish the test match was back on.
Could have been over that night. Renegades could have fined him 10 grand and moved on but 10 made a big deal of it - Mark Howard in particular - and that let the witches like Erin Riley get to work so that it became significantly mire toxic.

The truth is I reckon Mel McLaughlins career has been damaged more than Gayles.

No, you're barracking for him is all. "Worldwide barrage"?? What worldwide barrage? A few media outlets here, and the rest of the world couldn't give two faaarks. Talk about blowing it out of proportion.

It has made the news in the US, it's trending globally on facebook and twitter. How about knowing what the heck you're talking about before going on a campaign you campaigner... :$

Career damaged? I doubt either of them think this is the case, and why would it be? He's a bogon, and doesn't give two shits, and once his less than stellar cricket career is over he'll buy a nightclub in Thailand or somewhere and watch pole dancers for breakfast, lunch and dinner. MM, she'll keep dining out on her hot looks and will end up marrying a B Grade celebrity, or a footy player, and spit out a few kids, before making her TV comeback on Dancing with the Stars or some other piece of fluff. And so the wheels of celebrity turn...

Someone analyse the last 10 pages of the fred and look at the total posts:DH swannie posts and the time between DH swannie posts. Should give us a fair idea just how rustled his jimmies are.
I think DBs career saved post best sums up his posts....

'Best' being a combination of factors. The Adelaide Oval Test is always superbly attended. Can't say the same for Sydney. Or Brisbane. Or Perth (they have an excuse though).
The MCG test then...

The MCG test then...
Hard to beat Boxing Day, though the pitch is hit and miss. You could say that about virtually all drop-ins these days though...

I like the Gabba Test because of the optimism of the new season, and the Aussies are so hard to beat there. But the attendance is usually piss poor.

Adelaide had the Australia Day Test taken away and replaced with an ODI, then the Australia Day ODI taken away. Attendances still high. The campaigners at CA take us well-attended grounds for granted
