I got no sympathy for Suarez. Said it the moment he started playing for us he needed to quit with the diving and we are seeing why now. I have noticed Nani seems to have stopped diving as much as he used to because they stopped calling things in his favor(the Carra incident comes to mind), Suarez needs to do the same. Happy for him to be a campaigner, every team needs a campaigner but have always hated diving and it gives football haters an easy shot. That being said the EPL is better than most. Problem you have, especially in the box is even on clear fouls if the player doesn't go down, how often if ever do you see it called?

i do hope that with the lack of wins the players dont become discontent with the system and persevere.

I don't think that will be a problem mate, Rodgers' name was chanted from the Kop after the game and all the players got a rousing ovation. If the players see the support from the fans, and the manager sees that support, everyone will get a boost.

Nobody was under any illusions that we deserved to win that game, every Liverpool player knew it, every Liverpool fan, every United player, every United fan. Even Ferguson bloody admitted it, he'd have gone home and thanked whatever deity he prays to for getting him out of that one.

How good was Gerrard against United by the way? He was phenomenal. Alot of people are going to bemoan his 'hollywood balls' but he played a few blinders on the weekend and we do need that from him. He just has to pick his moment.

Have a feeling we'll smash Norwich this weekend and that we are just around the corner from some great things. If all of the luck went our way on the weekend we'd have run out winners by at least 2 goals. Repeat that performance over the next 10 games or so and I am confident we'll win 80% of them.

In other news Agger's injury doesn't seem too bad, just some swelling from the impact of colliding with GJ. Should be right to play in 2 weeks or so. Gutted for Kelly that he's copped an ACL but at least we can revert back to playing with Glen at RB and Jose at LB now.

This. Although I do feel the media goes over the top in their hate campaign against him. Ashley Young is a far worse diver and still gets calls going his way all the time

Defense is a big worry. No Lucas hurts a lot. We really haven't won a lot without him the past two seasons

Allen at the deep role seems a bit wasted, the guy obviously has much more up his sleeve

Kinda getting sad that we're losing week in week out yet I'm kinda numb to it since the West Brom game
Defense is a bit of a worry, with Agger and Kelly out, that hurts aswell. Getting Lucas and Agger back will be huge. As for being sad, well it sucks to lose but im strangely calm. I have a lot of faith in BR and his system. Slowly but surely we have been getting better and better. I think a really good run is just around the corner. Lot's to be positive about despite our league position.

Replicating that performance against "lesser" teams has been your big problem in recent years.

As for your Young comment I reckon the Villa (I think) game was the worst thing he could have done. It was just after the Fulham dive and I reckon he missed a few calls after that because of it.

Be interesting to see if that remains the case when he returns.

Anyone else getting a bad feeling that Suso just isn't going to sign a new contract?

Apparently he and Agger are negotiating theirs at the moment. Can't see why he wouldn't, he's 18 and is getting an opportunity to play in one of the best leagues in the world at a big club on their way back to the top, playing an attractive brand of football. At this point it would be a bad career move for him to go to Barça or Madrid as he wouldnt get the same opportunities and his development may be stunted.

I hope your right, but he was wanted by Barca and Real before we got him and I think maybe he is hoping they might come in for him after a few first team appearances. Though when I properly think about that, it just seems ridiculous. Worrying over nothing, still want him to sign soon.

Well he was complaining about not getting game time and being stuck in the reserves at the end of the pre-season and he's now getting a game so what's there to complain about for him?

Besides he would be even further down the pecking order if he went to Real or Barca and would be a career killer for him at this stage, better off staying with us where he's at least getting a game

Hope it's not a case like Pogba at United though.

Rumoured lineup v West Brom:

----------------Jones----------------
Wisdom---Carra----Coates--Robinson
---------Henderson--Sahin-----------
--------------Assaidi-----------------
Downing--------Yesil---------Pacheco

Jerome Sinclair on the bench, don't know if he'll get a run. He's certainly an exciting talent but has only just turned 16, it might be a bit too soon for him. Suso and possibly Adam Morgan will get some time too I would've thought.

Agger's knee is just bruised so he shouldn't be out for too long, just has to wait for the swelling to go down. Very fortunate!

It is tempting to wake up and watch that side, particularly to see Yesil, Assaidi and Wisdom in action. Only problem would be finding a decent stream...

The rumours I have seen are the same team, just swap Coates for Wilson.

Assume Coates isnt being risked to save him for the league on the weekend?

Pretty amazing how young that side is, 8/11 are under 22, 3 of which are under 19 and I wouldn't be surprised to see Suso starting in place of one of Assaidi, Downing or Pacheco bringing that age profile down even further. I enjoy seeing young sides sent out because there's no pressure of expectation, they are free to just go out there and play football so we might see some exciting passages of play tonight. They know if they try to pull something special off and are not successful that they're not going to be dropped as long as their attitude is right, because Rodgers will take the heat for them and his job is safe.

I wouldnt have thought so, he is just breaking through at one of the biggest teams in world football. I think both he and Agger will be tied up sooner rather than later. Hope he starts tonight aswell.

Could well make the bench, I guess it depends how the match is going as to whether he comes in or not. Raheem at 17 and Suso at 18 is alright, but this kid is a couple of weeks past 15. Pretty crazy.

I like that side but would rather Flanno at RB with Wisdom in the center, rest Coates so he can partner Skrtel on the weekend. Say no to Pacheco aswell. He just doesnt cut it. Put him on the bench and start Suso in his place. Ill be happy with that.
