Some weird-ass deals being done on deadline day. Second round picks being thrown around like confetti.

* Milwaukee sending out 5 or 6 second round picks, Ibaka, Hill and Nwora for Crowder

* Nuggets sending 3 second round picks to the Lakers for Thomas Bryant

*Clippers sending 2 second round picks to the Nuggets for Bones

* Griz sending 3 second round picks to the Clippers as part of the Kennard, Gordon, Green, Wall deal

* Celts sending 2 second round picks to the Thunder for Muscala

* Sixers and Hornets both acquiring 2 seconds apiece as part of the Thybulle/McDaniels 3-way trade

* Rockets getting another two second rounders from the Hawks as part of a salary dump

* Dubs getting 5 second round picks from the Hawks - did they really send out SEVEN secound rounders? - as part of the Bey/Wiseman 3-way deal

* Thunder getting yet another second rounder from the Suns as part of the Saric/Bazeley deal

* Magic getting a second rounder from the Lakers as part of the Bamba/Bev swap

* Pels sending four second rounders to the Spurs for Josh Richardson

By my count that's roughly 32 second round picks dealt in the last few hours, not including the big trades from yesterday. Can't decide whether Sam Hinkie would like this or not.

Hahaha, Dubs now sending five secound rounders to the Blazers for Payton Jr.

Some nice homecoming stories - Payton, Poeltl back to the Raps, Gordon to the Clips, Hill to the Pacers, Crowder back to Wisconsin...

... and John Wall, straight back to Houston. I bet that made his day.

This is ordinary at best.. another iffy center..

He shoots nearly 40% from three. +/- has generally been OK in the last few years. And you needed big man depth cos your first options are old and/or injury prone. I think it's fine.

No point skimping when you're in a championship window. He's an alternative to Kornet or Griffin in the playoffs, when offensive or defensive shortcomings become more problematic.

Blazers social media is melting

Dont see a whole lot wrong considering we werent landing any of the big fishes.

Thybulle for GP2 makes more sense positionally and I never like GP2's contract. Hart sucked this year as well.

100% ask every owner would they trade 4 1st round unprotected picks and a nice young player for a championship and you'll have every one say yes.

Thats because most owners are dumb enough to think they can win a championship and have tunnel vision.
