Have you seen Dirty Pretty Things? Same actor Sergi Lopez, plays the bad guy again. He's incredibly good at being hated.
Yeah I've watched it, but it was a long time ago and I was into some extra curricular activities that renedered some short term memory loss.

Thanks for reminding me though, I'll have another look.

I'm going to point out, I ranked 'Lebowski' At at number one. So is it a typo it's says the highest it appeared is 2nd, or is it a miscalculation?

Sorry, missed this the first time, will double check now.

Into the Wild is a great film and was in my top 10 so i'm happy. Sean Penn to me is a better director than actor. Really like the Indian Runner as well.

The Departed is a good film but to me is not a great one. I mean it pretty much fabricated Infernal Affairs for a lot of scenes. Not a lot of innovation. How Scorsese won best director for that boggles the mind.

Alien scared me as a kid! It must be brilliant if I still remember it from 15 years ago need to watch again to refresh my memory though. The Dark Knight is the other that would probably be in my top 100 or so. American Beauty and Schindler's List would be close as well.

into the wild? wow that's surprising not that great a movie

Fabricated? It was a remake/based off it.

Into the Wild, in my opinion, is one of those movies that tells an extraordinary story, but doesn't execute it that well. It's still a very good movie due to the story behind it, but in my opinion the movie could've been done better.

It's in this list because it's a "favourite" - not because it's one of the "best" movies.

Sorry, missed this the first time, will double check now.

Sorry for the delay Aenimence - it seems I gave your first two films on your list 9 points each, rather than 10 for the Big Lebowski. That takes Big Lebowski up to 32, just behind Gladiator. I'll fix it up in a minute.

Sorry poor choice of words no innovation was my point. A lot of the scenes I felt were copied with nothing much added to it from Infernal Affairs. I was very dubious on Scorsese winning an director oscar for this film against some pretty good competition.

Alien, The Godfather Part II, Once Upon a Time in the West & Apocalypse Now were all in my Top 5, so very happy with them being high. Love that Once Upon a Time in the West beat the more well known The Good, the Bad & the Ugly.

I loved Into the Wild the first few times I saw it, and it's no doubt a great movie. But I was 19 at the time, and the movie hasnt stayed a favourite for whatever reason.

Okay 20-11 is very solid. It's been too long since I saw One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest. Like Alien I saw it when I was a kid and I remember it had an impression on me. It must be 15 years as well since i've seen it and I remember crying there at the end. Of course the Simpsons parodied that scene so I am always reminded of it. Once Upon a Time In the West and The Godfather II are probably my favourites here but I can't say i'd give any film on this list a lower rating than an 8/10. So bigfooty has done pretty well but i'm pretty sure 10-1 ain't going to be as good!

I wonder is there any inspiration from the OP to do a Worst Films Countdown, perhaps not a top 100, maybe just a top 10 or 20.
