Outdoor furniture is OK to leave outside when it rains (that's why it's outdoor furniture derr); it's just the cushions you'd remove and store out of the rain because getting them wet can lead to mold. Outdoor furniture undercover (like a roofed deck area) is no problem at all.

Sun damage, weather damage

I wouldn't want to leave stuff out for periods of time, especially if it is a holiday house.

Put them away where?

Half of Victoria uses whatever garages they have to house house junk and leave their cars on the street

I would have thought given the size of a couple of those, an actual garden shed would have been appreciated. Not just for any furniture storage, but garden tools which will clearly be necessary - though also probably maintained by a gardener.

I just think in all, the backyards could have greatly benefited from appealing to three key elements:

  • How to manage a backyard with Victorias climate (allowing to be used in inclement weather)
  • How to be effective when considering it is presumably a holiday home (storage, etc)
  • How it can be managable as a holiday home

Again, outdoor furniture is made to be able to withstand being outdoors. That's the whole freakin point.

Dunno where you live but in the Goulburn Valley the weather eventually ruins just about everything.

We had to buy a custom made $600 cover for ours to keep the UV, dirt and bird crap off it. It is covered for 8 months of the year and it is 75% under cover. The $600 was the best investment

:tearsofjoy: at Kermit

Did she even board the plane in the first place?? I call bullshit..

If she went to Cairns it must of only been for one max 1 night.

It would take at least two hours to get to the airport, then the flight and getting home only to turn around and come bavk again.

I don't think she got on the plane

I have a feeling Kylie will be gone again soon. But did anyone notice her freshly dyed green hair? She got a lot done in 24 hours.

In tonight's episode, Mimi was caught lying several times to multiple people. I suspect there was more happening here than what she and Brad are making out. Mimi really is a shit person. And so is Brad. I feel sorry for Kylie because no one deserves that, regardless of what you think of her as a person or how she behaved on the show previously.

I didn't understand why the guys put those stones in their yard. Anyone could see those stones wouldn't work. But Ricky did a great job on that concrete.

Jesus, they’re loving putting Brad through the wringer. I’m sure all the trades at their house were disappointed when she came back. Can tell Kylie’s mum is a bogan bitch too from the phone call.

Anyways, that river pebble debacle at H3 was ridiculous but pretty funny. H2 gonna smash it again this week.

This. Lies, lies, lies. It's not banter, its not funny or taking the piss. You're a liar, pure and simple. Would shit me to tears if my partner was like that.

The pebble storyline all be it a small one was good. That's part of renovating.

I agree I think there was more to Mimi and Brad. I don't think anything happened but it was more than one comment and I suspect there had been some build up over the series while they were drunk.

I can't believe Mimi made no effort to help Christian clear that area. She is so lazy.

Should be zero alcohol allowed on site and they should drug test contestants. I know they would be left with no cast but so be it.

H2 is going to win this one easily enough.

H1 don't have the cash to create something that will win.

H3 lol those rocks. That was bloody funny.

H4 Are they doing any work? Their landscaper seems like a good guy, but he's up against it.

H5 Who knows, the balcony area will be amazing, not sure about the rest of the front yard.

Mimi is a shocker. Lazy as, the only time she was up and Kristian was in bed and she was working something but not actually doing any work.

Puts on a "dumb blonde" kind of act too which is super annoying.

Lmfao at her going to that Nickelodeon DJ thing. Like- whatever floats your boat if that is what you are into, cool as. But from my POV- that is my literal definition of hell.
